I need to get this deck! I almost bought it as a vintage store but I put it off. Now I don't even live in that city where the shop is🥲 also I know this video is old and I'm sure you already know this by now but there is a book based on the lore of this tarot! Its set in the same universe/fantasy world! The books are mark of the cat and year of the rat by Andre Norton! Each suit is a different tribe of cat people in this world! So cool!

It would have been great if they showed photographs as well of the looks suggested

This was an incredible review. Just so much of a personal touch, and despite our longtime friendship, I feel like I learnt something more about your experience. I imagine reading this book, while so wonderfully empowering, was still quite a challenging journey back to very real memories for you. I’m truly with you when you discussed the need for witches to leave other witches be (when they aren’t seeking input) as long as it’s not appropriative or harmful. There is a lot of that behaviour being played out over and over still in facets of witchy, spiritual and wellness communities. Which is such a concern given that people may be entering more vulnerable from previous experiences. This book sounds like a wonderful balm towards navigating a new path for people who have lived some of this, so thank you for such a thorough review. I definitely know a few individuals who would value this. It also just sounds like an insightful read on a fellow witches😊 experience and approach. Love that he labels his opinion too 👌🏻🔥

I love your review especially regarding self empowerment and self belief, despite whatever group think doctrines at you about how to do things or what to believe. Ive been discovering my own witchy inner life but Ive kept away from formal which places because I want to keep it all as my inner landscape.

I am so so glad these conversations are happening. I grew up Seventh-Day Adventist, a group that was birthed from the same social stew and time period as Jehovah’s Witness, just slightly different take-aways, but still doomsday focused and hyper-vigilant re: behavior (or even thoughts). Thank you so much for sharing the book and your experience, whenever I hear someone else share their experience with high control groups, it helps me understand my own ❤

Hmmmm. Adore the artwork, but for many/most of the cards neither the keyphrase nor the artwork are really giving me enough to jump off. (I'm not much of a plant person, so those cards mean little to me.) This might be one I get in order to write my own keywords on it.

great deck. The other decks that include other media Ive found are the Wild Unknown decks, especially the Alchemy deck of Kim Krans. I do love and appreciate a great guidebook.

Watching and the titles are weird no? The cricket, why not just Cricket? The guidebook is frustrating and quite shallow.... there was so much more that could be said that was evocative and the same word count. I would have to put numbers on the back of the cards and write that on the index, for ease of use. Sassy burrito might work as a pair? Thank you for showing it. 🎉

I love the simplicity of the cards and the blunt directness in their divine communication. Just like a New Yorker! LOL

I'm not a cat person (I'm a dog one). So this was not on my wishlist but I was curious to see your thoughts on it. I was not disappointed, and I loved hearing your thoughts about the composition and the artistic choices. I think what I liked most were all the little stuffed animals 😊. As for the Ten of Swords, I understand people's reactions, and indeed, this card stands out and not necessarily for the right reasons. But with the guidebook, I see it as representing those moments when we’re in the Ten of Swords - we can experience or feel like it’s the end, that we’ll never heal because we are in so much pain. So, I think the image can represent this person’s state well. And with the context of the cat-unicorn, it shows us that yes, we can heal, we will heal, but it will take time, even though it seems impossible or unthinkable right now. Thanks for your video have a great day! (And me too the fact that in the 4 of wands there was no fire to be seen bothers me 😅)

I love the way his decks activate so many parts of my brain: logic, intuition, and imagination. If I’m feeling sluggish I can pull one card and suddenly I’m firing on all cylinders. 🪄Loved hearing your thoughts. You had me cracking up 😂. I think you’ll love Ravens Wand Oracle too. I fell pretty hard for it myself. So much so that I tried the first book. I didn’t finish though, because I’m just not into fantasy novels, but I read about half and I thought it was very well written. Maybe I’ll circle back someday to find out what happens. ☺️

This feels like a deck you should work with lol. Idk how to elaborate on that. I’ve had my eye on this, but I haven’t looked super closely overall. But! Omg I’m obsessed. I think I need this. I love that it’s dark-ish and weird and mischievous and whimsical- which is totes me. I’m kinda pleasantly surprised by the guidebook. It seems more substantive than I was expecting, which I welcome. I’m not necessarily needing one, but I usually wanna know what your thoughts are on the deck you put out in the world. Meh on the human element in the deck, but I don’t hate and can accept it. I’m new to Lenormand, I’ve mostly been reading tarot over the year with some oracle cards thrown in. I have found your videos very informative. I will have to start readings with just a few cards. I like the chapter concept, some people read tarot that way as well. Nine cards is as advanced as I would go at least for now. The Grand Tableau would be a bit too much for me to take on at once. Some people say reading Lenormand is hard, but it flows quite nicely for me. I guess I have better intuition than some people.

Great thing about spreads and spells is that you can adapt them to your needs. Fertility for procreation is no good for me but fertility for product creation would be so I would adapt both of those spells. I may or may not change some of the ingredients and will reword the prompts but the idea of creating a fertile space within myself to allow for other types of creation is appealing to me. Found wood would be awesome for the car charm. I also love found natural tools.

You have to have your own morals and ethics for what you want to practice.

I really love the way you explain each card, it's really easy to follow and I hope you can also do it tarot. As for the bouquet, I can feel that the timing can also be 'somewhere you' ll be surprised of' or 'something not expected'. Because of the tradition of giving bouquet as a gift and the receiver is always be surprised of it.
