Around 4 grown adult Kangal dogs can protect Upton 400 sheep or goats and powerful enough to defeat 8 to 10 wolves.Kangal dog pack of 6 dogs, can defeat any number of the wolves no matter how big is the wolfpack. Wild predators are smart enough to know that they have no chance against to 4 adult Kangals and never gonna change them. Dogs never gonna get into physical war if it is not really necessary. Die Leute haben noch nicht verstanden, dass Wölfe nicht zusammen mit Menschen in einer Kulturlandschaft leben können. Wölfe brauchen die Wildnis. Wo sie mit Menschen zusammentreffen wird es immer Probleme geben. Sie sind Opportunisten in der Nahrungsbeschaffung. Das war schon immer so und wird sich nicht ändern. Um Nutzvieh vor Wölfen zu schützen, braucht es eine konsequente Bejagung der Wölfe. Zäune und Schutzhunde sind keine dauerhafte Lösung. Durch die Bejagung lernt der Wolf den Menschen zu fürchten und wird sich entfernen. Dies hat die dauernde Bejagung in Nordamerika bewiesen. Dort findet man kaum Wölfe in der Nähe von Menschen. Und wenn doch, so hat der Mensch das Prinzip noch nicht verstanden und ist in seiner romantischen Vorstellung vom Wolf gefangen, bis die Realität ihn eines Besseren belehrt.

WONDERFUL VIDEO!!!!!!!! There were still ancient species of wolves that were hard core like sabertooth tigers and mammoths in Bible times. They were the animal's men faught in Rome. No one wanted to pay to see a Grey Wolf killed in an arena. The wolves in the Bible were obviously more like hyenas and wild dogs, the kind that didn't kill first and THEN fiest. Just watch videos of how those various wild dogs, coyotes and coywolves kill. They tear their victims to pieces alive, THAT IS THE SIGNATURE DIFFERENCE that idednties those killers from Grey Wolves, no mercy kill. Bears don't kill first and then eat, a mountain lion will grab a throat but it will hind-claw the innards out and eat while it's in shock. If I had to choose between being killed by any kind of wild animal and a gray wolf I would choose a gray wolf without a thought. Matter of fact I'd prefer to be killed by a gray wolf than a human.

The most dangerous animal on earth is not the wolf but the mosquito which has killed more humans than any mammal and due to climate change we may find that malahria will spread to parts of our continent which were thought to be to cold for the the mosquito to survive. Thank you. I find it disturbing how people are buying plastic trees "for environmental reasons because cutting down trees is bad and also Christmas tree farms destroy real forest". Maybe one should not get a Christmas tree from the grocery store or other olaces that make it likely to be from a huge Christmas tree farm where they weed out the undergrowtg etc.. But for very many people it is possible to get the tree from a local farmer who gets them from his own forest. The forests here (Germany) exist BECAUSE they are profitable, so let's help them stay a source of income.

Three times a year we stay at a bed and breakfast 3.5 miles outside Ross on Wye.. we were there the first weekend of November.. and a large black cat... possibly a puma.. was seen sat happily with two deers on the Saturday morning! it seems to have appeared all of a sudden.. the owners wife saw it dashing over their driveway a week or so before... their property is surrounded by ancient woodland.. we went out into the woods Saturday evening in the gathering gloom and heard a squeaky mewing which we matched to a puma call on UA-cam...

Trophy hunting, which indeed aims big wolves, preferably males, is a problem in areas with livestock as it often "beheads" a pack by killing a lead animal, which disrupts family order and takes away experience, which, in turn, makes it more likely that younger animals attack livestock as the leadership and cooperation needed to hunt wild prey falters. I'm not a philosopher, but I think that thinking that "inhumane" actions are typically if not exclusively carried out by humans, both on their fellow humans and on other species, is not far off.

I found that interesting, partly because even though i love and support the idea of wolf reintroduction and rewilding in general, part of me was sceptical about the authenticity of the claims in the video. Which thinking a little more about it is stupid, when you stop and consider for example the interelationships between creatures we humans dont come into conflict with such as Clown fish and Anemone for example that would not provoke that sort of scepticism. Just shows the power of social conditioning over the generations. Free the wolf!

Hunting has brought me closer to nature, has allowed me to actually get to experience wild animals, not just on tv like most “animal lovers” and most importantly I have grown to truly love these animals and respect them more than anything. I am a hunter, it’s who I am, it’s spiritual to me. The worst part of hunting is the kill for me , what anti hunters think it is we thrive for…. And the best part is admiring the wild, watching the woods come to life and finally, enjoying the harvest.

Co-existence as you mentioned is key. There was a huge spider in my house tonight and my son caught it straightaway, so while it sat (like only a spider can do) on the floor we had a conversation about co-existing and i said to him, if we cant accept a spider inside our house how are we going to learn to live with Wolves? He said he didn't mind Wolves, it was just great big spiders freaking him out. What, because they're not furry and they have eight legs and eight eyes? Some people hate any kind of invertebrate, its all learned behaviour and we need to unlearn it.

Compared to most other countries, our wildlife is shit. Don’t get me wrong, the wildlife we do have are great, but I mean, come on… Many countries in Africa: lions, antelope, rhinos, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, hippos, etc. India: Tigers, leopards, bears, monkeys, elephants, etc. China: giant pandas, tigers, red pandas, snow leopards, etc. America: cougars, bears, wolves, moose, elk, coyotes, etc. Canada: similar to America, cougars, elk, moose, bears, wolves, coyotes, polar bears, etc. South America: jaguars, monkeys, crocodiles, etc. UK: our biggest land-based predator is a fricking badger! No wolves, no bears, no large predators, not even elk! What some people seem to think the reintroduction of wolves would be: huge, scary packs and packs of wolves everywhere, in our gardens, eating people, eating people’s pets, eating loads of farmed animals. The reality of wolf reintroduction to the UK: Only very small numbers of shy, wary and misunderstood wolves who will not harm us or come into our gardens, introduced into the wildest parts of the UK, such as the Highlands of Scotland, Northumberland, the Forest of Dean, with amazing benefits to our ecosystems.
