Is web3 a good option for someone considering to enter IT? Or should we start as a software developer?

You guys talked about a lot of valuable things that one can already hear online or say to himself (with some common sense), but to hear those words from real people is definetely better than telling them to yourself! As a computer scientist and currently a Cloud Consultant, I started with bitcoin and ethereum whitepapers, then moved to CriptoZombies while parallely implementing Solidity and React projects that I can follow through UA-cam. I'm going to create a bunch of repos that showcase already made projects implemented by myself without a third part guidance and finally I'm going to implement an idea that I've had, and I don't even want to know if there's something out there that already does it. It's very clear when you read about job postings on LinkedIn that this industry is very different from the IT bubble market of two, three years ago where everybody could get hired in some company with just a CRUD repository with a simple MySQL DB configured locally with four queries in the codebase. Things are getting more and more difficult in almost every field, with this one being a no joke. I don't know if this market cycle is coming to an end or if it's just loading up for great things to come, but in doubt I'm going to learn this stuff because it's here to stay, otherwise it would have been already dead. I'm regretting not starting two years ago when I started trading criptocurrencies, but I was blinded by money and stupid get rich now or never concepts that somehow got inflitrated in my mind ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It's time to go for it and not miss a single detail on this stuff, because hackers are watching, and blockchain users are investing money.

What's the best programming language to learn Front end? The solidity? Hyperledger? Sol?

LEARN TO SELL YOURSELF, BE AGGRESSIVE & OBSESSED & ACT DAILY ON YOUR GOALS. Having a website portfolio is a given. Techs are generally introverted and not used to having to sell themselves.

Security researcher for web3 i learnt from Patrick Collins and working as auditor and pen tester as i also learnt cybersecurity. Avoid courses when u pay I learnt all from self learning and Patrick Collins but i chose to go into security researcher.

Is there any AI able to audit smart contracts?

I am a full stack backend developer currently learning Blockchain, I make around 65K per year in the UK working fully remote from Asia, and I would be very happy if I can find my first Blockchain job for less money than this. On the other hand guys, is there a course (or courses) do you recommend for people who already are experienced devs? Thanks

It's very hard at the start, learning -> looking for a web3 job -> getting a web3 job without pay -> getting one that does not pay well -> learn again (learning directly from live smart contracts and reverse engineering them) -> finally started my own project -> scaling the project Good luck to others that are in the same position as me. 🚀

Great content, just one question, why didn't you have to import the Force.sol contract file or create an instance of the Force contract into the TakeMyMoney contract ? How comes it worked?

Show and tell was how I got jobs in the early 2000s when the web was in the stone age. Web3 is same cycle again.

When you say it's hard to get a job as a beginner, does "beginner" mean years of professional experience coding at all or years of professional experience in web3 specifically, but otherwise well experienced in another field? For example, is a person with 5 years professional experience in frontend development still considered a beginner after building DApps for only a year?

Hello! Thank you very much for opening the Github issue and sharing this video. I've been experiencing the same issue since my Metamask extension was updated to version 11.4.0 in Chrome. Thanks to the solution you suggested, I can play again. However, the downside of this solution is that it disables the part of the code that is supposed to intercept transactions and log them to the console when they are sent and when they are mined. Let's hope the platform's developers address the issue and find a solution to make the platform work correctly without losing this functionality. I will comment on the issue you opened to alert the developers and encourage a quick resolution. Edit: A temporary alternative solution for players is to play using Firefox, as the latest version of Metamask for Firefox is 11.2.0, and this version still retains the '_middleware' property.
