CAN'T ACCESS OpenZeppelin Ethernaut? 🛠️ My QUICK-FIX! 🚀 (reading 'unshift')

In this video we share a quick-fix to the Ethernaut ERROR: Uncaught (in promise) TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'unshift').
If you're a Hacker like me and love to solve Security CTFs and Puzzles, Ethernaut from OpenZeppelin is a must. I am recording a series about it and it wasn't working, so I solved the problem with a quick change in Ethernaut's code... Sent a PR to OpenZeppelin as well, but while they don't merge it, here's what you need to be able to access the challenges! :)

Hello! Thank you very much for opening the Github issue and sharing this video. I've been experiencing the same issue since my Metamask extension was updated to version 11.4.0 in Chrome. Thanks to the solution you suggested, I can play again. However, the downside of this solution is that it disables the part of the code that is supposed to intercept transactions and log them to the console when they are sent and when they are mined. Let's hope the platform's developers address the issue and find a solution to make the platform work correctly without losing this functionality. I will comment on the issue you opened to alert the developers and encourage a quick resolution.
Edit: A temporary alternative solution for players is to play using Firefox, as the latest version of Metamask for Firefox is 11.2.0, and this version still retains the '_middleware' property.

Hey Juan, thanks for your information. Have you tried to install a previous version of Metamask extension in Chrome? That might do the trick and could even be a better temporary measure. I'll try that and will make another video if it works for me. Cheers, Pedro

Thanks. Yesterday I experimented with installing MetaMask version 11.3.0 instead and it works great. Will post a video soon about the process so that people can have a better temporary solution.
