I was a prime power production specialist in the US ARMY and was hired by Detroit Diesel after my 21 year military career. After becoming tired of traveling all the time, I decided that it was time to settle down. After doing so, I was contacted by the Corps of Engineers (my parent unit on active duty in the Army. For I was also a Navy veteran, STG2…they wanted me to work in all the dams in the western US. Working on all the water turbine generators inside the dams. Would be living in an RV and every couple of years, after rebuilding all generators, would move on to the next dam. It only took me about a second to turn that down. The RV living was a NO GO! 🫡🫤

And all aquatic life downstream for miles was killed. Suffocated by silt.

You really have to believe into the engineers that calculated these forces.

Like all dams this one has only one turbine hall and in Australia a system was tested allowing the installation of three turbine halls with no issues with the main turbines
