This video is the second of a series exploring Taoism and narcissism. In this part I go into the principle of polarity, Yin and Yang, and what we can learn from them. I also go into the duality between an empath and narcissist. I hope this video can be helpful to you in some way.

About @dealwithnarcissist: I created this channel to offer a form of help for those experiencing narcissistic abuse. I decided to use my experience in order to help others and hope this channel and my site can provide quality insight in order to recognize, understand and deal with narcissists. I hope after this phase to direct you into shifting the attention to yourself instead of the narcissist. To focus on your self-worth and your kind and compassionate energy. I do this based on my experience/research and this website thus doesn’t provide professional help. I’d like to emphasize that it’s important to seek professional help and support if required.

Why outsmarting a narcissist is NOT smart at all (8 reasons)

Why The Grey Rock Method Doesn’t Work In The Long Term
Переглядів 1,7 тис.3 роки тому
The grey rock method can be useful temporarily to create some emotional distance from a narcissist. In the end, however, the only real solution is standing up for yourself and thus to go no contact. If you need to interact because of having children together, it's important to learn to firmly set boundaries, stand up for yourself, and set clear rules for the necessary (non-emotional) contact. I had 2 narcissistic siblings. No way to ever “reconcile.” After this life ends, both narcissist sisters will finally realize the damage they caused to so many people, I hope. Because everything is transparent in the afterlife and you cannot hide or try to be someone you’re not. And what matters is the size of your heart, how much you loved one another. I don’t even think you could get in if you harbor a lot of unforgiveness. I dont think God will smile on them for their hateful behavior. One has committed suicide. Possibly ran out of her narcissistic supply. She finally realized how cruel she was to so many people, but she never made the first attempt to apologize to any of them. Just took herself out.

I just had to go no contact with my older brother. He never takes blaim for anything and has been very selfish and manipulative for our entire life. I was our mother's caregiver and he called me a murderer because she died of old age. He is a monster and there is no way to have a relationship with him.

A child can be forgiven for they are children. This behavior from an adult shows that they never matured and stayed ignorant. Their lack of understanding of what a real relationship is shows only that they forever refuse to accept responsibility and accountability for their actions and behavior. People like this are best left alone t their own devices.

I'm currently in the process of grieving my relationship with my sister and am choosing no contact. It is so difficult and painful but I need to let go of my fantasies of what our relationship could be. It is also hard because my mom is in denial about her and continues to allow her to manipulate and abuse her and she just keeps forgetting and forgiving. But I will stay strong and set up my boundaries and prioritize my own mental health. This has gone on too long. My heart goes out to everyone in this situation

My Sister is the worst of the worst. She destroyed our family. I hate she's married to Steve Wariner the country music artist. He's such a nice guy, but co-dependent...that's why she got pregnant on purpose. She did the same for her first husband. It's was so much fun hanging out with the rich and famous. I could give a shit about her, but miss Steve. She's 69 and I'm 66. Hopefully she will die before I do, so I can hang out with my family again. She's a high school drop out and I graduated with honors from USC and played football on 4 championship teams and worked as an executive with MOTOROLA and had sales teams of over 20 sales professionals and she never had a job. She treats me like I'm a bum. I haven't spoken to her in 8 years. The final straw was she told me I can't go backstage at the Opry on a Saturday when Steve hosted the Opry and it was my 58th birthday. (I paid Steve $56,000 to perform a 2 hour show 25 years ago for MOTOROLA at the Opreyland Hotel. Steve was hosting the Grand Ole Opry that night and just had to walk across the parking lot after hosting the Opry. He was filling in for his close friend Garth Brooks. $56k is over $100k today. Caryn actually over charged for Steve, instead of getting a deal since he was my brother in law, plus...no travel was involved) She said she'd ask the Opry manager, but it was too late because it was Thursday morning and the Ryman does background checks and Wednesday is the cutoff. No problem...I called the Opry manager and told her I was Steve's brother in law and I'd like a backstage pass Saturday for myself and my 86 year Mom. She said, "Oh! You're Caryn's brother". Just have her give me a call and I'll leave two back stage passes for you. I asked about the background checks. She laughed, "We don't do background checks!" I called Caryn, "Good news, I called the Opry manager and she said just give her a call!" OMG!!! SHE RAGED!!! USED EVERY CURSE WORD and said how could you do that to Steve and I??? Steve is going to get fired!!! (27 years in the Grand Ole Opry...😂) We are going to get in trouble! How could you??? I caught her in a lie and I never talked to her again! She has two grandchildren from her scapegoated son in NYC (I have 3 nephews and a niece, and they won't speak to me, because who knows what she told them about me?) ...he doesn't let my Sister talk to his children anymore. She can't even FaceTime them. 😂 When they were 13 and 12, they saw a family photo with me in it and asked, "who is that Man in the photo?" That's your Grandmother's brother. Grandmother has a brother?????? I have a million more where that came from...I guess I'll write a tell all book!

My sibling’s relationship with my narcissistic mother involved loyalty to her and playing narcissistic power games to garner her approval, financial support, devotional support. Hi I’m actually bawling my eyes out as I write this but if something happens I atleast have this comment as proof. My brother abuses my family dog and has been doing so for at least five years now. For the first time I snapped and I hit him I couldn’t control myself. I am in no way proud of the way I reacted and I take responsibility for acting so foolishly. Oh don’t get me wrong he hit me back but I’m ashamed to say that I felt better after the fight. I’m a girl with anxiety and I have been abused by my mother for all my life and I am now witnessing my only friend get the same treatment from my brother. He’s three years younger than me and he does not care about anyone other than himself. I don’t know what to do I wish I have my papa at home to hug and cry but he is at work. Guys please I don’t know what to do I’m so ashamed of what I did but I’m sorry I will do it again for my fur baby even if it kills me. I just wanted at least leave some proof here because I’m so tired of being treated as if I’m under his rule when I’m earring my own money and helping the family when he plays games…all day…and abuses my dog whenever she barks by locking her up…please I don’t know what to do…I’m too scared to call the police because my mother was the only witness and she will take his side no matter what…my heart feels like glass and he hit me so many times I don’t feel any pain anymore…please I don’t know if god exists but please save my dog at least please she is the only good thing I have in my life please anyone please help me

My sibling needs admiration. And she needs me to play 2nd fiddle in any situation where we are together. My sister is a feminist counselor and I thought she could understand me. But I was dreaming. How could I have thought that as she and my other sibling would bully me when I was young? But my parents always said we must love each other. Well I was the only one believe it. The take home here is that narcissists don’t reform. And covert narcissists are nice to everyone except a chosen few they have targeted for supply.

I know she is, so no point in listening to this!! I had nine siblings and saw two that attended my adult son's funeral recently. But that narc sister, couldn't care less if I never saw her again!! No love lost. Adiós!!

I’m sorry for your loss. It’s a good thing you already know this for yourself. Wish you strength and kindness!
