In 1997 I was invited to sit in the cockpit jump seat for this exact takeoff experience on Minerve Airlines! It was an incredible experience! As a private pilot, I was able to rent aircraft from the flying club at FAAA Airport and fly over to Moorea! It's the most incredible scenery in the world!
