Master of explanation 👌 Really interesting to learn about the add ons to the 7700. Quality Video again Si. Spot on.
Great sunrise..interesting about the moisture content on the rape
@@WILKY422 yes it’s surprising that it can be cut to dry lol.
@@JDautopower slowly working my way through your videos certainly learning new things about farming..
Excellent video..nice to see Gheorge getting a mention..
Fantastic video does the sld have pro lift legs
Thank you. Not sure about the sld legs. It will only go about 10” deep, so they probably are pro lift ones.
@JDautopower just wondered as I run a simba dtx hard going down here in norfolk although 10ml of rain today which is greatly appreciated
It’s very hard here to, the Challenger has been struggling for grip in the heavier fields.
What sort of area are you cutting with the 7700? Thanks
We are cutting approximately 2200 acres with it.
You look to have good yielding crops across the farm considering the year.
Yes we are well pleased….and surprised with the good yields considering the year.
Proper farming.
Excellent one thanks for showing your day's routine, matanice, clean down. Thanks again
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it.
is a black fendt more money or are they the same price
Yes they are, the standard paint is green, so it’s classed as an option.
You've wished for rain, it's here now. Siling down and not a breath of wind.
Another great episode 👏 the drone footage is great, brings a whole new perspective to the operation and shows even more of the wonderful views you and the team graft amongst daily. The routine maintenance of the combine was great, does it get a specific end of season maintenance programme too after its final shift, or are the hourlies enough to see it through to next season?
Glad you enjoyed it 😊, the combine will be thoroughly blown down, washed internally and externally, before being fully greased up to expel any trapped moisture in the bearings, then in its parked up for winter.
👍🏻
Yep, good video that and enjoyed the drone footage and the music. Thumbs up.
Thanks, much appreciated 😊
What a brilliant video so well explained, what more would one want, I feel l could nearly drive a combine now,😊 and the drone is a great addition, well done 👍👍👍
Thanks for kind comments, glad you enjoyed it.
How do you undo the flap under the header, is it on a latch or do you have to undo bolts?
There are three quick release studs and two spring loaded catches to undo it. It’s wick and easy.
Thanks for the reply
Great video, some cracking drone footage, would i have seen your challenger near Barnetby top during the week? Whats the front tank for on it?
Yes it was working near Barnetby Top. The front tank is for fertiliser when we are drilling OSR. None drilled yet as it’s to dry.
Great adiition having the drone shots.,thanks for the content.
Thanks, your welcome 😊
Nice drone footage. Simba SLD making a good job.. can't beat having a Challenger up front
Thanks, it’s a good set up, the SLD and challenger.
Great video, as always, and Dron shots, too ... that's a really idea with laminate the combine into 👍
Glad you enjoyed it 😊
will you have any restrictions using the drone where you are? near the airport. What make & model of drone did you buy? seems pretty good
Yes there are flying restrictions, but luckily they stop at Melton yard, although some fields will be restricted. The drone I have is a DJI mini3 pro. Very pleased with it so far.
Brilliant video, how many acres do you farm??
Thank you. 😊. We have about 2200 which we crop, then there is a lot of grassland and woodland on the estate.
Another cracking video, love the addition of the drone clips.
Thank you 😊, I was hoping th drone would enhance my videos
Another great video, I totally love the drone footage but please please drop the music as the sound of a challenger is far better 😊😊😊
Thanks, Trouble is the drone doesn’t pick up sound unfortunately
Enjoy watching your videos, appreciate your effort, it’s unreal all the variety of cultivation equipment, back in the day. Plough , discs , leveller , roller, and hope for the best 😂
Thanks for your positive comments, yes there is certainly an array of different cultivation techniques nowadays.
Industrial farming at its worst, not a single tree or hedge to be seen 😢😢😢
Which part of the video was you watching, we have a lot of hedges and trees on the estate.
What a ridiculous comment. Just put on to get people’s backs up when anyone can see the estate has loads of trees and hedges.
All feilds surrounded by hedges..loads trees
Whereabouts in England mainland are you?
In North Lincolnshire.
Brilliant video, thank you for showing the daily routine service, really interesting 👍 The drone is going to be a great addition, look forward to seeing the sowing 👍
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. Just getting used to the drone.
First Class again very informative specially the daily routine service etc.. The Drone footage excellent very well put together with the music..if that's your first attempt looking forward to the next one..Well done certainly opened my eyes to what's involved in modern farming..
Thanks John, my next attempt might not be as good lol. Yes a lot involved in modern agriculture. Glad you enjoyed it.
Great to see some drone footage 😎 very handy for content filling and hope you get good practice. Rain ☔️
Thanks. Need more practice with the drone! We definitely need some rain ! It’s dry and hard.
@@JDautopower looks like a storm ⛈️ is on way this weekend

Great video good job
Thank you😊
Getting the drone has enhanced your vids !!
Thanks 😊
Did the spring barley meet malting spec. can you tell us the price quoted . In Scotland were just getting to the barley , If its a plentiful year the maltsters reject loads which gets very costly
Some of the Spring Barley has been tested, and it has achieved malting standards, but we have not sold any yet. I agree with your comments, a lot about and the maltsters will be picky, won’t take much for a load to be rejected.
@@JDautopower think Claas combine designers should go out to see working combines and spend a season blowing them clean for their customers'. then go back and fit better covers and some blowers. its a terrible job
Good drone footage ......and apt music
Thanks, glad you like it.
i suppose another benifit to the convio getting so low is, if you are going to be baling, you can get as much straw off the crop as possible
Yes it is good for maximum straw, but you would be surprised at how much it can slow you down cutting 2” as opposed to 6” , in output terms.
@@JDautopower well i suppose you have more going through the combine, and if its already running near capacity it would make sense for it to slow you down a couple of k
Great video and great addition the drone👍
Thanks 😊
Drone be great for giving extra content to videos Simon Challenger going at an angle helps to break up compaction Yes cereal men want rain for new crop establishment but root crop men want dry for harvest potatoes/ sugar beets etc
Thanks, still a lot to learn on the drone front. Could do with an inch of steady rain.
👍
Excellent stuff. Thanks for posting during your peak time.
Thanks 😊. I can’t deny, it takes a bit of doing, especially putting them together late at night, when we are working long hours.
Really enjoyed nosing around your combine 😊
Glad you enjoyed it 😊
Great video and professional drone footage
Thanks, I’m only a beginner with the drone.
Another excellent video this week updating us on how the 2024 harvest is going. It's nice to see you've joined the drone footage age, like many others with a very good video of the Challenger working on the stubble.
Thank you, I’ve wanted a drone for a long time, so hopefully it will compliment my videos
Great video again loved the drone shots of the cultivations
Thanks 😊
Great update as always, loved the drone footage! Very professional, enjoyed the combine tour. 👌
Thank you, really glad you enjoyed it, especially the drone footage

another informative video impressed with the tidiness very well laid out,,
Great video and very well explained about the computer set up be great to see maintenance you do 👍👍
Thanks. Will show you daily maintenance next time.
Good wheat yields, n e England some very poor crops due to severe wet conditions from late October onwards. Spring beans look good though if they start to rdie off , green as grass at the moment.
Very pleased with our wheat yields considering the season
Really interesting stuff. Real detail and focus on outputs. Thanks for posting & good luck.
Thanks 😊
Another great video. How many acres do you of cereals do you have?
Thanks. We have about 2200 of combinable crops including the beans.
