Lovely playing, I’m not usually one to say a piece is easy for it’s grade 😀but is this really grade 7 ? It’s a pretty easy piece, I was thinking more a grade 5

Thanks for the tips! I used this method several years ago when I played steel string. At the time I found the maintenance too demanding, but now I play nylon string and am able to use most of my nails with just the natural tips since the strings are easier on them (except my index is permanently damaged from a work accident so it does need to be reinforced with this technique).

In the sheet that I have , there is a part between bar 44 and your bar 45(in mine the part at 0:53 is the 49th bar) I played with and without it and the way you definitely sounds better but I just wanted to know whether it is an error in my book or there is a reason you purposefully didn’t play it??

Great tone, Joseph. I play bluegrass guitar and dobro, and in more or less any informal session, the speed of BB would be much faster than this. Would the speed you are playing rate a pass, or is it just a demonstration of the tune and structure?
