Hi there! My name is Nova Brabantia and I'm a history student with a special hobby. I collect 78 rpm shellac records and tell my audience about history. All the maps in my videos are made by me and the songs are recorded by me, and sometimes send in by other people who recorded a rare record. I always credit the original authors. I allways try to find the rarest records and upload them to the internet as a way to archive the songs, before they get lost in time. Some records I own the only copy of.
I mainly focus on teaching history to my viewers. You can find information about anything related to said song in the video descriptions.
Records can be expensive at times. Apologies if I can't upload once a week like I promised.

-History:
Kriegsherinnerungen or 'War memories' in English, is a military march about the German unification wars. However, I decided to make this video ww1 themed, because the record I recorded this from was made in 1914 and the march was frequently played during ww1. The record has 2 parts to the song, this being part 1. I might do a second video with both parts on it later this month.

This song was actually about the German unification, but I decided to make the video based around ww1 because the record itself is from 1914 and the song was played frequently during this period. This is only one of the two versions of this song, that are both on the same record. I might make a German unification themed video with both parts in it later this month.
