Jayce likely wasn't sent to the same timeline Ekko and Heimer went to for two reasons 1.) He very likely doesn't exist in that timeline. If Victor didn't stop him from jumping in season 1..., and 2.) Victor very much wanted Jayce to see the future of his plans so that Jayce could stop him.

Ekko + Powder = nickname (TIMEBOMB) Alternate timeline 1) Ekko is jinx because his tip causes Vi to die but made powder hide the crystal and destroy jayce room/research and assuming jayce too. 2) With Vi dead, Silco and Vander raised Powder 3) if ekko and powder are soulmate, it meant our Ekko lost powder 3 times, in childhood, in alternate timeline and real life.

One reason I've seen put forward why Jayce didn't appear in the same reality as Ekko and Heimerdinger is because the Jayce from that reality was also killed in the explosion that killed Vi. Expanding on that theory.... Jayce didn't publicly announce that he was trying to create magic, and so the Topsiders didn't get spooked into harassing the Undercity the way they did in the show's main timeline. Meanwhile, the death of an Undercity child (Vi) likewise dissuaded Viktor from pursuing the research on his own.

I have a HORRIBLE and LIKELY theory. People have been wondering why Ekko and Heimedinger ended up in the same alternate reality, while Jayce didn't. Didn't he thought? We know that Ekko and Heimedinger ended up in the same reality, but at a DIFFERENT time; the parcimony principe would hence push to the conclusion that Jayce had arrived in the same reality, at a different time; probably in the future. But then, if Jayce never invented Hextech in said reality, how would the world end like that? Well, Ekko has shown to Powder how she can use the cristals she has kept since she was a child...

bandle city exists outside of reality and is timeless so if a mortal would enter bandle city he might never return and die of ages

I think everyone who knew about league lore understood that Jayce was most likely justified to do what he did to Viktor.

With that incident that killed Vi, Jayce would've been kicked out of the academy, be asked to leave Piltover, and most likely commited suicide. Hextech wouldn't be developed.

It is to assume that powder kept the hextech gems hidden, because she thought them to dangerous to be further examined and tested. Also there are multiple hints that powder realized that our ekko in fact wasnt "her" ekko. Like how she looked at his notes where he drew 2 souls connected through an infinity sign. Which is also why she played along with the "pretend like its the first time" and why she didnt react shocked when she saw 2 versions of ekko in the end, with "her" bf ekko unconscious in her arms and "our" ekko up in the teleporter. The way she put the pendant in the drawer also sparks the thought she is closing this short chapter with "our" ekko. What made me really teary is the details to the pendant he gave before leaving. You can see both their faces on it if you look closely (theres also pics on the internet where the faces are outlined for better visibility), but even more beautiful to me is the fact that the blue peonie symbolizes "eternal love" but can also mean "eternal, unattainable love". 😭

Not sure why but the dance scene with Ekko and Powder totally broke me. Best "what if" episode ever.

So heimerdinger is fine he was most likely sent back to bandle city. Which if you dont know all yordles are from the spirit realm, so if they die somewhere they just respawn

Something that sorta flies under the radar in this episode is that we find out just how powerful of a priest Heiter was. We know that she gives off enough mana for Lugner to have considered her a threat and for Aura to know she is an accomplished mage. When the party first meets Frieren, Heiter says he has 5 times more mana than that.

I wanted to answer your question because I think it's in an interesting one. "Do you believe in fate?" No, but I believe in destiny. The difference, I believe, is that destiny is more fickle than fate. You can be destined to be great but fall short and never make it. I believe that God puts you on this earth with a goal to achieve and he gives us 80ish years of life to figure it out. I believe that if you do your best to live right, be kind and follow your sense of self, your destiny will fulfill itself.

Honestly, it doesn't look good for Jinx in act 3. At this point, I only see her ending the torment that is her life, sacrificing herself in battle or something like that. And if she doesn't die, I only see her distancing herself from Vi for Vi's own good, keeping in mind what she says in episode 2, "everyone who gets close to me dies”
