Nice stuff. I found a bunch of knives today. USGI kabars, Puma made in Germany, others, and one cheaper version Buck. Did not know Butterfly was legal in Hawai'i. That's a hefty knife. Lol. When I open-carry my Kabars, it is a deterrent.

That’s messed up that the dealer couldn’t identify it as a fake. With all the instruments and technology we have nowadays that’s just unacceptable that this happened. And I guarantee you’re not the first to fall victim to them.

I got a couple of fake $2.50 Indian Heads from my dealer, he readily took them back without question. Ill leave more of the Unconstitutional communist crap that FDR did alone because if you dont know by now, then you'll never know. And then the US talks about it's 'special relationship' with the UK. It's pretty funny. I mean clearly the two peoples are genetically connected, so you have to honour that, but it always struck me as ungracious of the American administration that they didn't honour the French for their special place in helping create their Republic. No, no, it was all these plucky little fighters like Washington, not the might of the French military. hah.

Wonderful Medal. 10 November 1775. It is fun to wish a Marine Happy Birthday on the tenth of November. They don't expect it from someone that was never a Marine. I have collected all these since release (ultra high relief). I have 3 ungraded (no plans to send in) and 2 graded (both 70s). Very unique; watching a video or looking at images doesn’t do it justice. After my first purchase, I was hooked. My preference is for the antiqued silver iterations, but given low minatage, one can't be picky.

Beautiful sentiment. I saw Van Halen tour for their first album. Jimi was da man. Never saw him in concert. But... I have seen some of the best guitarists ever, and Eddie is at the top of talent. It's difficult for me to pick a favorite, though. Sometimes the memories guitarists create in person would factor into an equation like that. Veteran's Day. It affects me in a few different ways. My Dad was in WW2. My USMC oldest brother died as a Marine in Viet Nam, and I was USN 78-82. My Dad dodged torpedoes, and my brother dodged bullets. I dodged the chief master at arms, and asbestos "snowballs" in dry dock. Awesome gift for your fellow Marine. Once a Marine... That's a wonderful hunk of art. (coin, round, medal... no matter) Thank YOU for your time in USMC. Guys like you, my Dad, and brother are the real veterans. And Mahalo for your videos. Very calming.

I grew up learning about the Civil Rights movement, in the newspaper and on the TV as it happened. I agree, not a lot of detail, and the mint sure puts spooky eyes on their stuff. In the future, when these medals are found, people will scratch their heads, wondering what the world were folks thinking back in the day. Not aware if one exists, a GrandMa Moses subject matter would be cool. Not civil rights movement-wise, just real cool subject matter-wise. Her story gives us kupuna some hope. Booker T Washington did come and delivered his "Atlanta Compromise" speech at The Atanta Cotton States Exposition and I have one of his medals. That medals was made by the US Mint but is a quality piece that I am pleased to have.
