Hello Emperor Wang from Atlanta Ga, home of Matin Luther King. I started collecting black historic medals and have several. Since my main collection is exposition medals most of my collection is associated, like the Frederick Douglass Medal which I think is rare ua-cam.com/users/shortskeuBGTYn8bs Your comment about the disrespect on the medal, some say, was evident since they mispelled this last name and just listed first name as Fred, even though he was know as Frederick. Booker T Washington did come and delivered his "Atlanta Compromise" speech at The Atanta Cotton States Exposition and I have one of his medals. I do have a large bronze medal honoring: The Tuskegee Airmen Bronze Medal: Honoring Heroes ua-cam.com/users/shortsMfs9Bf9KCTM which I really like. That medals was made by the US Mint but is a quality piece that I am pleased to have. If you like you can remove those links or let me know and I will as I do not want to spam your comments but felt like they were closely association with your video. Also a tip I would have if to include the hashtag #blackhistory on your video and you may be surprised how many more people will view it. Regards. Robert

I grew up learning about the Civil Rights movement, in the newspaper and on the TV as it happened.
I agree, not a lot of detail, and the mint sure puts spooky eyes on their stuff.
In the future, when these medals are found, people will scratch their heads, wondering what the world were folks thinking back in the day.
Not aware if one exists, a GrandMa Moses subject matter would be cool. Not civil rights movement-wise, just real cool subject matter-wise.
Her story gives us kupuna some hope.
Terrific video AND subject. TY for sharing.
