Having fun restoring one gun at a time.
Newest 410 back pack gun from midland arm
I went to the great outdoors gun show and saw midland arms newest 410 back pack gun. After playing with it at the show I knew I had to have it. So today is the first day I am shooting it.

I restored this old Colt Woodman and when I got it I thought it wasn't salvageable. After 10 hours and months of work it's firing again.

Cutting down rusty 12g shotgun part 1
Looks great! 😊
Nice shooting! Do you have a holster for this gun?
Proud owner of one of these. Works perfectly after all these years. 👍
My wife got me one for Father's day, except it's a civilian model. Most likely used as a boarding or defence gun.
Nice how long of a barrel is it

I thought this was gonna be way more complex.
Ive two damascus shotguns and fired boxes of modern smokeless through them. One from 1883 (more like 1888) and a hardware swore American gun co 12 gauge from 1889 One we fired turket shot with both barrels and it handles it fine. The ones to watch out for are the Belgian shotguns heard their weak in the barrels. My American gun co double is by far my favorite and the one ive fired the most. Modern ammo wont make them explode outta nowhere thats a old wives tale. If it exploded it was going to blow up anyway.
Where can i get a flobert gun
I was able to get one at action
@@rustyriflefan what do you mean my friend
@@Achillious_pro On gunbroker.com there are a few floberts for sale.
@@rustyriflefan yeah but there's a problem I am from Greece 😐
oh I see im not to sure how to go about it that way. Sorry
E tem algum vídeo você fazendo ela
Gostaria que você me mostrasse como é que fabrica essa manopla aí
Boa noite gostaria de fazer a manopla dessa carabina 22 aí que você fabricou
My first gun was a model 88 in 308, from ‘55 and it’s still a fun lil thing to use
I have the exact same rifle and I also have a bow in the stock. Idk if it’s supposed to be like that or not
Your cleaning on a board. Same on you.
Ну и что это получилось? угробил ружо и всё, дурак из дураков!
Thank you man. My magazine tube wasn’t going back in.
I currently own one of these and I have never seen one without a pistol grip. Incidentally the buckhorn shaped bracket the firing pin locks into has a safety notch in the top of it, so the gun can be carried loaded, but on safe. From the safety notch you just pull back and push down and the gun is now ready to fire.
Yes I also have a few 32cal rimfire Cooper with wooden projectiles
That's crazy wooden projectiles
@@rustyriflefan yeah they were for shooting rats in cattle barns milking stalls with concrete floors to reduce ricochet
Does anyone recognize make & model ? Chopping up a foreign job is one thing...classic American is another.
It's a Spanish made shotgun
I purchased one a couple of years ago at the Winchester Collectors gun show in Cody, Wy. I paid pretty good money for it!
Nice I bet it's in way better shape and it will always be worth good money
Old Italian down the road had one
The customer's request was very reasonable and legitimate. I have an older Kassnar (by Zabala - Spain) 20ga SXS with 28"barrels (I bought way cheap). Looks exactly like the 'subject' firearm. I am considering cutting barrels to 18.5", re-installing the bead, and do a good job of filling the end gap. WHY? I'm looking for a 'travel gun.' Compact and legal all over, especially when I have family in upstate NY (where laws seem to change by the minute!) and Michigan (where who knows?) - but this is a Joe Biden suggestion for a home defense gun LOL! I am experienced doing these modifications and have several other quality 20ga shotguns - including an Ithaca SKB 100. Why not have a 'legal 18 1/2" package' (broken down) to travel with?
Dudnt show the cutting
Ruger charger will do 100 yards easy.
I think it's great, if i lived your country that is just the kind of rifle I'd be getting, and I'd have loads of fun Plinking around with it, brilliant, hope you have fun and stay safe mate 😊
I have one
😮😮
Wow 😮😮 nice collectibles pieces and very rare
Nice Keep it on original boxes for collection it's part of the history and the value increse I believe
That's for the info
collectibles totally nice and interesting
Yes sir ive owned about 50, 38RF revolvers. Such as Remington, HR and Hopkins & allen.
Correction my friend. 28 gauge was first offered in 1937
Oh nice I didn't know that
Have 2 of the us army 513T training rifles. Very good shooters.
Oh wow that's nice.
I have a few of these but in much better condition…I find it hard to believe that any grown man would butcher the stock of any gun they own, that most likely was done by a child.
I talked to my grandpa and you are right it he was 8 years old.
Dont restere it, i have on too
I did a deep clean video if you look at my other videos
Incase you haven't discovered it, your rifle also has a safety notch. It is found in the buckhorn shaped bracket (rear of the receiver) that the cocking piece sits in. If you pull back and up, you can drop the cocking rod in the safety notch, so the gun can be carried loaded. To fire you pull back and down and then the gun is ready to fire. I currently own a DW #1 rifle just like yours, which were considered "youth models" In really good condition they are worth $350 to $400
If you've got old stuff like that you may as well put it in an air tight container with desiccant while it's still in the original box. That way it can last longer if you don't intend to shoot it any time soon.
That's a good idea to keep it dry
Old 762 i reload just incase they were boiled but i would suggest it for any bullets you dont fully trust
I’m sorry but dude didn’t get no tummy time as a kid
The fuck is tummy time?
You should donate it to me
STOP buying it if you have no idea what to do with it!!
Keep your old ammo because they are now making ammo with primers that will become inert .
Keep it buddy.
Always!
I did it for you If the vintage ammo is still in good condition and safe to use, you could consider selling it to collectors or enthusiasts who are interested in vintage firearms and ammunition. There's a market for vintage ammo, especially if it's in good condition and from well-known manufacturers. Alternatively, you could also consider donating it to a historical society, museum, or shooting range where it can be appreciated by others. However, if the ammo is damaged, corroded, or unsafe to use, it's best to dispose of it properly according to local regulations for hazardous materials.
Thanks man I really appreciate the advice. I think I'm going to do a desplay case and see where it goes.
Ask chat gpt
I'm on it. It would probably tell me to burn it all hahaha
Swallow one each day on an empty stomach
It would be pretty eventful crapping them out lol.
Super cool, idk if i would want to rely on 40-50 year old ammo though
You are totally right nice to go plinking but to hit a squires I will use the good stuff
Take 1 of each and make a display case
Get a collect puller and deactivate first.
@@nonokodog622 where's the fun in that?
Good idea guys thanks
Just picked up one today to tinker with. some one put in a old machine bolt for the breech lever. stocks are loose. Something to mess with after work.
Ya man these things are fun to mess with. And pretty easy to play with
Hamilton Model 027 22 caliber rifle. The Model 27 was introduced in 1907 and production ceased in 1930. It combined major innovations for which the Hamilton Company held patents. The first was the method of making the barrel: by pressure-forming a sheet of metal into a short, thick tube, and then rolling it around a mandrel engraved with a reverse pattern of the rifling. This process was covered under Patent Number 660,725 of October 30, 1900. The Hamilton method was fast and well suited to mass production: more importantly, it was far less expensive than the conventional methods of “quality” gunmakers. Despite its speed and low cost, it was perfectly acceptable for low-powered .22 rimfire ammunition.Mindful that there are always a few customers who have an extra dollar to spare and demand the “best,” Hamilton obliged by producing the Model 027, identical in all respects to the humble Model 27, but featuring a slightly higher grade of wood in the stock and forearm. Some Model 27’s have a plain butt with no buttplate, but some have a sheet metal buttplate tacked in place. The Model 27 was, in short, the perfect product of its type and for its time. It incorporated innovative design, fast mass production, good quality control, and savvy marketing to serve the public’s need for a safe, reliable, and practical gun for young boys learning to be men.espite its simple and practical design, the Model 27 has a good deal of visual appeal as well, thanks to its graceful lines and diminutive size. This is perhaps one reason why it was made for so long and sold so well, compared to other Hamilton products. When Hamilton closed up shop after World War Two, their chief gunsmith bought the company’s tooling and briefly made some on his own; and a Japanese copy of the Model 027 was retailed for a very short time in 1965 by a California import firm. The few Japanese copies sold poorly because the action, too weak for modern ammunition, was regarded as unsafe. Barrel lengths on Model 27’s vary from just under 15” to 16”. For many years the Model 27 came under the provisions of the National Firearms Act of 1934 as a “short barreled rifle,” but present day collectors can heave a sigh of relief: in a rare burst of good sense, the BATF eventually decided that the Model 27 does not, after all, represent much of a threat to the peace and stability of the American Republic. All Hamilton 27’s have long since been exempted from the NFA. And of course all qualify as “Curio & Relic” guns by virtue of age. This 027 does have a great barrel, with just some frosting. Somebody really took great care of it. Has a 13 1/3 LOP. No cracks or large dents. Blue is turning a bit to patina, but no rust or deep pitting. Don't miss a great kids rifle, getting super hard to fine them in this condition.
