Really great video!
Love the new releases style
hi cameron! ❤
Love the vibes! ❤
if you liked julia fox’s memoir then i recommend cat marnell’s “how to murder your life”, it’s about her drug addiction during her time as a beauty editor at condé nast
I really need to get to The Wedding People. I've heard so many great things!
You are incredibly refreshing 🤩 seriously love your videos!
Great recommendations, but I'm surprised that no one has asked about your lipstick. It's gorgeous. I'm just watching 9 months later, but if you happen to still remember... I'd love to know!
I have just started reading “ I who have never known men” and they mention Herland in the intro. Excited to see how much I like it one to move forward with Herland after!
i’m also slowing down my reading, i’ve also made a rule this year to not start another book until i’ve written a review
Sea of Tranquility is amazing -- and it also involves a pandemic. I loved it just as much as Station Eleven, and it was so chilling to read it at the tail end of Covid. That said, I recommend reading The Glass Hotel first. Station Eleven, The Glass Hotel and Sea of Tranquility are connected, and you'll find themes and characters from Glass Hotel popping up in Sea of Tranquility. I didn't actually love The Glass Hotel, but I think I would have missed some context in Sea of Tranquility if I hadn't read Glass Hotel first.
Wow thank you for this insight! I’ll definitely make a note to read The Glass Hotel first
super excited to hear your thoughts on monstrilio- it was my fav January read so I hope you’re enjoying it too
I just finished it last night. My first 5 star read of the year
I fall prey to the cheap kobo ebooks ALL the time. Found some cool reads this way!
cameron i always look forward to your videos!! thanks for sharing! you had a good month. we love variety. i am also trying to slow down and i love not tracking my numbers. i have no reading goal the past two years and it's been great
I just started Julia Fox's memoir ✨I've been listening to it while I clean + I just gasp to myself every now and again 😆
The Wedding People was one of my favorite from last year and you summarized it perfectly
Completely relate to the lower number reading goals for 2025 :) What's the point of reading 100 books if you can't remember most of them. Great reading list for the month!
I've read 12 books in 2024, which means the "quantity>quality" BookTok girlies would chew me up and spit me out 😅 But at least I can actually remember the books
I'm first??😭
i also read 65 books <3
in regards to the publishing house sending you books you're not even interested in, something really nice you could do is build one of those free little libraries in your neighbourhood, and then keep putting all the books you're not interested in there for your community to enjoy :) that way you stay on the mailing list and no book goes to waste
Omg I LOVED Rouge ❤ i know it's not a perfect book, but it was such a fever dream with such incredible imagery. Another similar (including themes of beauty and absurdity) read is Natural Beauty by Ling Ling Huang
As a Brazilian I think you're gonna love I'm Still Here 🇧🇷❤
i love the casual vibe and the lighting in this video! like we’re at a sleepover 🤣
This is video has the best vibe and was so interesting to listen to haha
I thought everyone read each word in their head like they’re talking when they read😭 you made me feel seen
I log everything I watch on an app called TV TIME.
This was such a joy to watch! Also the lighting is perfect for this kind of video.
❤️ ❤❤❤❤
This was a great recommendation video! Tender is the Flesh was the book that marked me the most from last year's reads. I still think about it so often.
"The hottest man on the planet....think Harry Styles"....and you're a literary fiction reader instead of a ya romance reader? 😂😂😂 No idea what anybody over the age of 13 finds in that boy...
You didnt include romance or historical genres either
GIRL, I bought Gold Rush purely based on your recommendation and I haven't touched it yet because all the other bad reviews have me *scared* lmao. I trust you though. Definitely giving it a try at least.
Love meeting a fellow Australian book girlie with a soft spot for weird books
omg someone teach me how to borrow books from australian libraries onto my eReader!
LOVE to hear your review on ~N . GALILEA's LEAD me where the light is ours !!!! It is so good highlighting so muchhh
cant believe ppl nowadays dnf'ing a book just because it is "poetic", when did it ever became a bad thing lol ppl embracing mediocrity and craving blandly written substanceless books
your review style is so on point and refreshing
I read 32 books in 2024
This was so much fun to watch!
I will read what's for dinner.
I’m so excited to read gold rush the way described the synopsis was so perfect that I had to added it to my TBR !!

Frr😭
i heard there was going to be a new Bunny book but this is the first time i heard the synopsis. sooooooo excited!
I love your book recomendations❤
Can you do a video for the best “love stories” you know of?? I definitely agree about the difference of romance and love stories and I love love stories!!
the wall is definitely similar to i who have never known men, but deals with a different perspective on femininity without society. the protagonist is not only alone in the world, but alone behind a wall and therefore dependent on her limited area in the forest, which makes it even more exciting, especially against the background that she knew the city, culture and society. i read it in german, the original language, and i'm curious to see if it comes across as well in english, but i'm definitely looking forward to your thoughts on it (the name is pronounced haus/hofer, by the way, because there is no sh sound in german or austrian, at least not in the connection). the unworthy has already been published in german and is also at the top of my reading list. loved the video (as always)!
I read The Wall last year (before I read Who Have Never Known Men) and few books have ever touched me in that way.
I just read The Wall and yes in a way it’s similar to the Harpman book (sorry forgot the title I read in French) but it’s quite different too !
