I use my heater in my 9x7 dome tent all the time. Common sense kids, it has a rain fly, sits 2 inches above the tent. Ventilation handled. Please stop being worried about everything.

My feeling is that the ground tarp is one thing but ultimately the floor of the tent will get tiny holes and lose water proofness. The best way to keep inside of tent dry is to put a water proof layer INSIDE the tent.

The marina is nice but all the people trying to sell you weed and coke is on the verge of infuriating.

I cut my gound tarp to match the footprint of my tent. There is no need to fold it.

We use a water bed liner inside the tent to keep the moisture out. Sized to fit the tent or camper. We have one inside our tent camper then put the bedding in it. Water bed liners have sides that you can tuck everything into to keep it away from the sides of the tent/camper.

99% of the igniter failures is the wire moving out of alignment. Just gentle push it back. If the orange support is used correctly when storing, it can prevent this.

I woke up at 3am during a downpour. I was floating until my cheap air mattress popped. Most horrible night camping. I realized way too late how I did the under tarp wrong.

This was a great video and narration except for obviously mispronouncing the name of the destination the entire video. It’s a bummer because this is one of the best videos I’ve watched on UA-cam on Ocracoke but the mispronunciation is distracting. Well done otherwise though.

Since when is Camping a Race? It's a Marathon and you have to pace yourself. 🤣 Who cares how long it takes? There must be 3 million videos like this. What's the rush? You're at camp for the night and odds are, it aint raining & you're early before going to sleep. My 6 man $350 Base Camp tent from REI take 15 minutes that includes setting up a cot, mattress pad and sleeping bag. I also don't lose another 1 mpg with my GTT (ground TopTent) Have fun climbing your ladder in bare feet and getting out in the middle of the night to pee! While I can stand up, walk around, and entertain in my Tent Ma Hall!

While I can't disagree with this, I will say, I get more equity from having the tarp set up to keep dirt & debris out of the tent. Because any amount of rain is gonna get under the tent, no matter how hard you try to stop it. If I may suggest, a test video with two tents set up, wrong vs right, & put yard sprinklers on it for 2 hours and see how little, how much this makes a difference.
