I noticed a huge modification that is not canon with this model. The Nacelles normally DO NOT have those bumps on the top of them. Still good work though.

I love all of the extra bits on the hull compared to a "clean" or unmodified Intrepid class... at this point, Voyager is pretty much her own subclass, and it's nice to see that visually

She may didn't had a chance at the Borg in First Contact, but she came back with a blast in Picard!

The E ? What's that? Huge Mistake destroying the D in such a disgraceful way.

In the aftermath of the Battle of Veridian III,the near-loss of the Federation’s flagship--and its greatest Captain--convinced a chagrined Starfleet that--amongst other things--the Galaxy class was very much in need of a long-overdue upgunning. A new set of warp nacelles--complete with their own dedicated phaser arrays--were installed on the Enterprise, while the torpedo bays were upgraded to the standards necessary for the storage,manufacture and firing of the newly introduced quantum torpedo. Meanwhile,the Type-XII phaser arrays-first introduced on the controversial Sovereign-class starships--replaced the vast majority of the tried-and-true Type-X throughout the ship. There was some talk about removing some of the civilian amenities--laboratories, holodecks,theaters,classrooms and,of course,crew quarters--in favor of extra weapons emplacement and storage,but Starfleet was confident that these upgrades would be sufficient in deterring future opponents and adamant that the Galaxy-class starships remain Frontline frontier explorers--symbols of the Federation’s dedication to its ideas and ideals--and not become brutish,ugly warships,anathema to everything that Starfleet was designed to protect. Nonetheless, more radical and extensive upgrades were in the works,should Starfleet ever be proved wrong. It wouldn't be the first time,unfortunately.

Can we please use this model as a new ship and call it USS Century and make a series in TNG style between Nemesis and Picard??

I mean organized religion has generally been a stain on society as a whole (more people killed in the name of god than for any other reason across human history). Within North America, it’s the Evangelical Christian movement along with other extremist religious sects and if other religious organizations don’t want to be associated with them they need to publicly call them out and denounce them. This is the same standard they try to claim for other religions so why should they not be held to the same standard? Oh and guess what, the fight around abortion, anti-lgbtq2+, and other fundamentalist religious views attempting to be applied on anyone other than themselves is an extremist, fundamentalist ideology that represents the absolute worst of society.

The galaxy class is still THE federation star ship for me. It’s timeless.

the music, the shot composition, the ship design, the lighting, this... this is my happy cosy place. give me 25 new shows that are just this.

Looks really nice, but your deck/phaser lines are warped. They should be straight. Look how they go up where the saucer section ends at the back. They shouldn't do that

This is exactly how first contact should have been with an updated Enterprise D (dominion war) version upgrade. The big D was taken out far to easily in generations by a old far outdated bird of prey. So sad to see! 😕

Remember these classes of ships people, by the time of the Picard era what ever was not destroyed t Utopia was decommissioned and kicked out the fleet. All these classess are gone.

I do hope the famous Hubble shot of the Nebula's Pillars of Creation was inspiration for the background nebula. Fantastic shot.

Good effort but I don't think this shot really works with the bulky design of the Galaxy class. They made the Enterprise E sleeker for a reason.

I love that you got earths moon with all the lighting from the city's great detail everyone misses. Remember Riker says 30 million people live on the moon.

Simple, gorgeous ship, slow pans, no lens flares. This is what modern trek is lacking. Bravo!

Originally the E was actually going to be another Galaxy Class like the Enterprise A but they instead gave us this beauty.
