Finally getting around to installing the GBB15 on the Micron! The GBB15 is an open source CAN and USB board designed to go on the gantry of a 1515 extrusion based 3D printer (like a Voron VO) to control the A & B motors, as well as offering endstop switch ports, thermistor inputs, and a CAN output to go to your CAN toolhead board. 00:00 Introduction 02:20 A note about termination resistors 03:0...

I also want to do this, on a Voron 2.4, next video coming soon?
Have a great show guys!
Allen's comment regarding mobile raker lit an immediate creative spark in Christopher's eyes. This guy is sharp and going to do great things.
fantastic!
I am wanting a MMU for my Prusa i3 Mk3S+ and I am not necessarily sold on the MMU3. I was looking at the Chameleon and I am now watching the development of the 3MS with interest. I am not sure what my timeline is at this point, so I have time to watch development. Thank you for this interview.
This is absolutely awesome! I would love to chat with this young man and pick his brain sometime. Great video!
Awesome to see young People in 3d Printing to bring new Ideas on the Table!!! Nice😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
very good interview!!!
I'm excited to see this as I'm contemplating building a Reaper as well. I've been waiting to hear more feedback on it.
I wish the left 5015 air intake faced out.
Yes yes yes. Mirroring the fans would be amazing
Awesome coverage, couldn't have put it better! Excited to see it rip through some plastic 🔥
Love the color way, can’t wait to see more of it on the channel! It’s such a simple to build design 👌 Reaper will be at West3D booth at ERRF!
Let's gooo ❤️❤️
Got the parts for the filament sensors, now I just need time this weekend…
So Cool! Looking forward to see this being built.
I read it and now i have the Song in my Head. First idea was a Mask. Cool 😎 stay safe, healthy and share love&knowledge! Happy weekend 😁😁😁😁
Is the diode only needed because your using the endstop port to power the fan? If my board has a 3/4 pin fan header i dont need a diode correct?
The diode is needed to stop the fan from grounding through the tach line and running constantly. Not every fan does this, but adding the diode is cheap insurance.
@@west3dprinting219 thank you
46873 Mayert Drive
Thank you! going to build this
Can we see how it looks inside?
I’ll include it in the last installment!
Go Bryce and Makayla! That's awesome! Wish we could be there with ya! Yall have a great time ❤
Awesome!!

How about a stealthchanger. Pretty simple integrated mmu😊
Simple… I don’t think that word means what you think it means 🤣
@@west3dprinting219 lol
please look into the filamentalist buffer!!
Mine are working great!
I hope you succeed. Personally, I will not use any mmu system which relies on filament couplers - it’s a jam waiting to happen, plus you need “dangling” stuff on your print head.
The combiner will be outside the printer- I agree with not wanting stuff dangling from the print head.
The Competition is Strong with this Project!! 😂
So many MMUs coming out. The future is almost here 😁
Thanks for the info
Looking forward to part 2!
Nice Tutorial, is there a way to complete the wizard if someone like me doesn't have a probe yet?
Don’t select setting up the probe, just the tool setter
I look forward to part 2. I've been toying with having something set up for "endless spool" purposes, and 3D Chameleon seems to be a lot more ready for prime time than ERCF, Tradrack, or the others in development.
Would this work with Bambu Lab A1 mini?
❤️
I have a 12' skeleton and a 3d printer.... I'm down for this.
That is sick! I would love to see an image of the heart with a flashlight aimed thru the wall to see how it would look illumanated.
Got one in my ERCF!
There comes a time when you just 'man up' and ask the doctor to refer you to a wrist guy...and stop cranking those straps down so tight.
What are you going to do about the cutter?
I have had my 3D Chameleon for a few months now just sitting in the box waiting until I have time to tinker with it. I love that you are taking the Klipper approach with this and I will most likely be doing the same thing. Thank you so much for taking the leap to create a walkthrough for doing just that. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the videos in this series. Awsome job Allen!
I tried it a couple of times and retraction to switch filaments has been very difficult to calibrate on my ender 5 direct drive setup. It is resting also until I find time or find a nice UA-cam tutorial. I wish autoclipy was easy to install but seems too difficult than just plug n play.
Nice video Allen!
the servo filament cutter is not something i recomend but a physical cutting switch with a lever arm that depresses a blade
That seems quite interesting ! I just saw two videos about the ERCF and the AMS, this might even be possible on my tiny V0, I'll have to look this up
So what is the verdict? Does it perform better, I am at a crossroads now with tpu as well. Thanks
It’s been great!
I have only heard of 3D Chamelon but didn't know how it worked or anything about it. This is quite interesting. Looking forward to the other videos.
Box Turtle for the win 😀
i have the 3DC on my neptune 4 plus, its taken a lot of time tuning it but finally got it working well
I'm still running the 3DC using the stock firmware, maybe after this I'll look to adding it to klipper and using klipper to control it..
Can't wait for the follow-up videos!
The MMU options for klipper are mostly very complicated to assemble, configure and operate. I have yet to see a single solution that “just works”
Mosaic palette 2/2s is pretty much just that.
@@jettachamp26 For single filament types. cant mix petg and abs or pla.. So is not a single solution.
I have one and I could not get it to work
Me either. Help on the forum from him was useless. Returned it
@@DaveWW00 unfortunately i had about the same experience but haven't returned mine, so hopefully can learn something from this
Very excited to see how this goes. I really like the 3D Chamelon
