    With a russian grip fan, I sometimes find it hard to do thumb grip and getting momentum without it slipping; do you have any advice for that?

    • @danirei789
      @danirei789 3 місяці тому

      @@rosemarycat5 Unfortunately, I don't have much experience with Russian grips, so I don't have any special advice. It might help to experiment with the speed, if you haven't done so already. Speeding up can help with the momentum, but slowing down can give you more time for a grip switch.

    O ordered LED fans and they’re so heavy 💀 do you have tips to beginning with heavy fans, or moves you prefer for heavy fans that utilize more momentum?

    • @danirei789
      @danirei789 3 місяці тому

      @@beckydarrow Heavy fans are definitely hard to work with. I'd try to use more static motions (holding your fans and moving them with your arms) than dynamic ones (spins and weaves and such.) You don't have to ONLY do static tricks, but those will be easier on your wrists until you get used to them. Pay attention to your body, too. If your arms and wrists ask you to stop, please do.

      @danirei789 8 місяців тому

      Sorry I took so long getting back. I tend to be a bit time blind, meaning I'm not good at monitoring how long something does or should take me, so I wanna say about 2 hours per pair to be safe, but 1 hour may be more realistic. 15 will definitely take you a while, and your hands will get tired, so if you're able to enlist help, please do.

    For arm tracers, I find myself very rarely using them in dances because the stiff arms always seem like an awkward starting point. Do you have an recommendations for transitioning into the starting position or moves that looks good preceding it?

    • @danirei789
      @danirei789 9 місяців тому

      That's a great question! Would you mind if I answered it in a video? I feel like I can explain, but typing it here would be very wordy, and might not make as much sense. But I'd love to do videos on combos ad transitions anyway, so this would make a great starting point!
