I hope you feel better soon! I broke my right shoulder but am sneaking in a bit iof spinning because I draft with that hand. I’ve persuaded myself that micromovement is good for bone healing. 😂

It was difficult for me to respond to this video. I worry about you and your chronic health problems, and you are in my prayers daily. But it does make me sad seeing you like this, especially when I know how much more sad YOU are about all of this. I appreciate that you trust us all to share your issues with us, the good and the bad. Little Dotty was the good in this. She is so stinking cute😺😺😺and with her thick coat I think she'll be stunning when she's grown. Note: if the undercoat is long enough you can spin dog and cat fur. It's very soft and warm. Rest when you need to, listen to your body telling you what it needs. Take all the time you need and don't feel as if you must push yourself. In the long run, you'll feel far better for it. If you can't spin, make cat videos. Film yourself cooking. Do your nails. Do a livestream with a facial mask cream on and your hair wrapped in a towel with a deep conditioner as you do a Q&A session. It's all good, don't stress yourself out mentally when you're already physically under stress. Love yourself, we all love you sweetie.

I hope you feel better Sadie, no matter how long that takes. You'll still have an audience whenever/if you feel ready to make more videos. Edit: my favourite joining method is the twist and weave and i think it's great for adding colours

Either way you go with the jumper, you're still going to have to gauge swatch and do maths. Yes you can have a Bobbi of different color for the cable part, just be sure to twist the yarns before working new color or you'll get separations or holes.

oooh I never thought to use paint pens. I might still paint the base colour with a small tin of paint and use paint pens to draw a design on my wheel. hmmmm you got me thinking now lol

Especially looking forward to the dark to light pink minis! The green is my favorite so far, it is lovely enough to stand alone as a solid piece. It would make for a lovely cap sleeve or even a long sleeved blouse. And it's a perfect baby outfit item color!!! So honest- trust and love yourself through it- honor your courage to even try something. In art school I was taught by a brilliant prof who actually had a real art world career that a minimum of 3 attempts before what you’re making look presentable. After that I facture in 3 honest attempts as a part of the process. If I am rusty ( forgotten the technique)- then 4 times because it takes awhile to quiet the voice of” you know how to do this- what’s up with you” to quiet down. Carry on - you’re half way there.

Beautiful yarn, I love it! And such a lovely view for spinning outside. The sound of the waves, bird cries, and a salty smelling breeze. What could be better??!! Had a thought for you, a travel bag with a packing list in it of your crafting things so you never forget your essentials again. I keep one, it helps a lot, because I also take my watercolor travel kit too. Hope your finger heals soon, I had one on my finger like yours and I couldn't spin until it had healed completely!
