Great sim indeed. An advanced topic which i d like to ask you is, when we play these 8+ city liberty games, is it better to unwork uni slots when the scientist spawned in expands ? Or maybe keeping the second and third and say, unworking the 4th scientist spawner expand and all the later ones? Is there a general rule you follow? Thanks a lot for your work, excellent video concept.

Rolling pop ruins is a skill issue; if you're getting non-pop ruins just git gud.

Does chopping still work with overflow ? Would it not have been worth to delay shrine by 1 turn at 11:29 for ur chop?

You don't have to complete piety from the get go, but it is definitely the best. I've been playing around going liberty first to get republic so one can build rova's faster, and the extra culture per city early game doesn't hurt either. But that's probably only useful on slower speeds than online, idk.

I don't think Kilwa is a vanilla liberty civ tbh internal cargos giving 4 gold is pretty useful for combating the gold bleed

Shoshone feels pretty crazy with the new ruin options TBH. Getting the +1 sight and extra tile distance is pretty insane for finding more ruins.

Always sucks when a game has a weak finish because of quitters. How well do you thinknyou could have defended from land invasions right after finishing the Chile player? I know you would be able to take back the cities but i feel like you did not have a land army to defend from Rome (if they stayed) or Jeb although i guess the Great wall helps.
