Ossa Mountain (Tantalus Range)
On Monday, August 7th, with a group of three individuals (Shayan, who organized the event, Hedayat, and myself) set out to summit Ossa Mountain. We convened at 4:30 AM at the United Church in West Vancouver, our customary meeting point. The drive to the parking area in Squamish Valley covered around 100 kilometers. Our hike commenced at 6:00 AM. The first leg included a steep ascent of 3 kilometers and an elevation gain of 500 meters that led us to the junction of Ossa and Sigurd Mountains. The path, encompassing about 700 meters, took us through bushwalking.
After covering 8 kilometers, we encountered an obstacle-a glacier river crossing that was numbingly cold. Beyond this point, after a 10-kilometer hike and an elevation gain of approximately 1500 meters, we were rewarded with a mesmerizing view of glaciers and the rugged Tantalus Range mountains, a truly breathtaking sight.
Following a replenishing breakfast and refilling our water bottles, we embarked on the ascent to the peak. The final 5-kilometer stretch was steep and demanding.
In the last stretch, we encountered class 3 and 4 scrambling, which presented a manageable challenge, although we kept in mind the need to descend without ropes.
At last, we triumphantly reached the summit at 1:30 PM. Despite a few breaks for snacks, water, and breakfast, we were pleased with our timing. After capturing several drone shots and enjoying lunch, we commenced the return journey to the parking lot. Our arrival at the car was at 9:45 PM, and following dinner at a McDonald's in Squamish, we headed back home.

Bald Eagle

In the sky’s embrace, eagles soar, embodying freedom’s might and vision’s awe. As a believer in creation and God, I always envisioned God as an eagle in my mind, with the understanding that nothing escapes the sharp eyes of those majestic creatures, even from afar. عقابها، در آغوش آسمان پرواز میکنند و قدرت آزادی و هیبت بینایی را به تجسم میرسانند. به عنوان یک معتقد به خلقت و خدا، همیشه خدا رو ...

Gorgeous scenery, Multicultural, prices through the roof. It’s a pretty city and quite vibrant. It’s the kind of city where you can live at a slower pace of life but still get all the benefits you would expect from living in any major global city. there’s the stunning backdrops available! Those huge snowcapped mountains make for amazing views from your home in Vancouver. I love Vancouver
Mount Robie Reid

Mount Robie Reid is a glorious peak which sits slightly higher than Golden Ears, but the route to the top is certainly more difficult as it involves going up and down a couple of times. A group of 6 of us started at 4:45am and hiked up to the peak on Saturday, September 10th. We had breakfast just before the tarns and then scrambled up to the unnamed peak, the false summit, and the true summit....

Sailing on the Queen Charlotte Channel
It’s SIGNIFICANTLY harder to go back on this lane. It gets CHOPPY and is so big it has a tide of sorts. Particularly later in the day. Even in a motorized boat that’s says 15 feet long, it can be scary. If you see ANY whitecaps on Harrison lake, no matter how small, it’s going to be difficult, and often dangerous in any kind of small boat at the wrong time of day and if you are on the way bank towards town. I’ve seen a speedboat, travelling slowly to navigate the waves get tossed stern up, so only the back end of the boat was touching the water, almost entirely perpendicular to the waterline, and very close to capsizing head over heels before it slammed back to the water. Don’t underestimate this lake.
I'm just trying to figure out why you guys are hiking in the middle of the night. Is it it to beat the crowds?
Fantastic video BTW.
So cool Very professional
Awesome 👌
Thanks 🤗
Amazing footage. Is a 4x4 required to get to the trailhead or would a regular 2wd car be ok?
Where is this? The lakes are stunning!
Great video. I did this hike climb 2 years ago and really enjoyed it. Your video brought back memories. Looking at doing Judge Howay this year.

so dramatic :)
what time of year do you reccomend as the best time to paddle this lake
If you like fishing, there is a awesome time Mayil, ish that you can catch more than keep, Weather side, about 20 mile bay area. Anytime is good, just know it can blow up fast, I used to work at the top end, took my 40 mpg capable boat in to work so we could ski after work, got great respect for water after a fed blow incidents, sky get dark, 10 minutes later 3 meter waves, couldn't even beach the boat, rod itout with crap in my pants,
Shouldn't you be roping up on the glacier?
Looks amazing! I just did the short Crooked Falls hike yesterday in the same area and it was awesome. One day when I have more experience I want to try this hike too!
Amazing work guys! I would definitely join if the weather was less cloudy ;)
I really appreciate your positive feedback! It's too bad the weather was cloudy and you couldn't make it to the hike. We'll make sure to keep you in the loop for our future adventures with hopes of better weather😉👊

I ran to the summit of Castle Towers solo the other day from the rubble creek parking lot and over panorama. Then back down Helm glacier and back to the parking lot. Such a fun, beautiful loop that I enjoy. Definitely a fun day and no one on the mountain! Added bonus!
Wow, that sounds like an epic adventure! Running to the summit of Castle Towers solo and enjoying the beautiful loop via Panorama and Helm Glacier sounds like a blast. And having the mountain all to yourself? Added bonus, indeed! Keep up the awesome exploration! 🏔️🏃♂️😊

Eaton Lake? I saw the trail but no lake. The lake at the end is Ross Lake. It would be a better video if it was more accurate!
