Awesome video! I bought my kid a CF moto 110. That BS clutch system sucks because it has no low end torque and can't climb an ant hill. So I bought a Lifan 125, then I took both top ends off to see if I could interchange upper cylinder heads to retain the Fuel Injection and I found them identical! Same bore, same stroke valve size the same. I can't for the life of me fiqure how one is a 110 (cast as a 107) and one is a 125cc. Any experience with that at all?

Replaced my head gaske on my Tao tao 125cc got all the time mark lined up close everything up started motor and got a loud tapping sound so I guess I failed... I've done timming chains before on cars never had problems???

Confident I can set timing right after I replace all those gaskets thanks to your video.

This is specific comment on xv1100 models!!! All around good info but the information only applies to xv1100 models 95 and under. I have found that that the term "pick-up coils" cannot be taken literally. The 96 and 97 models ( really I am working on xv1100 ) have only two wires running from the case and I am unsure as to where the other two truly come from! This has created so much of a crazy mess of this for me! I have attempted using coils from 750 now which has four wires and so on and so forth!!! If you could help me with the 97 xv1100 ignition circuit I'd appreciate it!!

I noticed the gasket you're using between the cylinder and the valve head is that rigid composite gasket, rather than the flexible cardboard gasket. I was wondering if you've ever had any problems/issues with that setup? I have an extra rigid gasket and to me it seems like a better choice over the cardboard, but I'm not an expert or anything. Perhaps it doesn't seal quite as well? Edit: It's possible that on my engine, someone mistakenly used the cardboard gasket for the valve head (combustion chamber area). I just noticed on another video that the darker rigid gasket was used, just like in your video.

Not sure if this will reach you, but I’m trying to figure out how to adjust where the piston head is in relation to the mark on my fly wheel. When I line up the mark on my flywheel to the one in my case, the piston head is all the way at the bottom of the cylinder. The original flywheel that came with the bike I bought was completely rusted because there was a crack in the cover which caused water to sit inside and rust it to pieces. Is there a way for me to adjust where the piston head is without adjusting the position of the flywheel?

What's the difference between the cdi and tci

I got these led lights I'm putting on my 98 xv1100 I need to tap into the left and right side turn signal wires and break because when you turn the signal on and or break the one side depending which turn signal you hit makes that whole sides lights flash same with when you hit the break they all turn red but can't find a wire diagram to find the separate turn signal wires and break wire do you have any way to help me find that out please?
