Amazing piece!
Snyggt!
@@viggojonsell9754 Tack!
😵
Performed with my Piano Teacher: Andreas Kreuger, 24/05/22 in Missionskyrkan.
Reminds me of Shostakovich in certain ways and in others it’s more Prokofiev
Im glad to hear:)
Very good concerto, what platform did you use to write it?
@@kristopherrivas602 Musescore
@@kofiLjunggren do you know how to upload MuseScore 4 to UA-cam? I’ve been stuck trying to figure it out
Playful!
@@howardyu50211 Thanks
It reminds me old cartoons we used to watch as a kid, I don't know why lol
Same randomness😅
Another great piece! Just wanted to point out why the violas are written in bass clef? 😅
Oh sorry, will fix that!:)
@@kofiLjunggren You are welcome, also I noticed that some double stops in the 2nd viewing 2nd violins are impossible to play (unless there is meant to be a div.) . Sorry for the nitpicks 😅 Keep up the great work 😊
@@dimkollias44 Yeah, almost all the double stops are meant to be divied:) Thanks for asking!
I love this one :)
Thanks!!
rachmaninoff is that you?
Tusen tack Gustav! Jag uppskattar verkligen dina ord!
I really like the allegro!
Thanks!
Great work! More cinematic I suppose. And what I understood from your videos that you think flutes are underrated, just like me
Thanks you so very much!
This is beautifully crafted throughout! The voice leading is so natural and fluid.
Thank you!!
Tre mycket vackra stycken för blåskvartet. Rytmiskt, melodiskt och kontrapuntiskt helt perfekt✨️🎶✨️
Tack så mycket!!
Joplinesque in the opening movement. Almost a ragtime sound. Lovely slow movement, very delicate. And charming finale full of your trademark bouncing rhythms..restoring some of the feeling of the opening. Sweet. Have you ever listened to my wind quintet 'October'. You might enjoy it.
Thanks John! Its always intressting to hear your thoughts:) I Will take a listen to your wind quintet!
9:35 what a beautiful moment
Thanks!
2nd movement - gorgeous!
Thankskk
Great arrangement! The contrasting colors in the dynamics are really effective - this is definitely a bop!
Thanks so much!
Mycket vackert roligt och spännande att lyssna på. Kan urskilja och uppskatta I S och LEL här och där. Fantastiskt verk!
Tack så mycket!
groovy! :)
Thanks!
Great!
Thanks!
Så otroligt roligt stycke!
Tack Gustav!
Grovt och härligt!
Tack!
At first i thought, why not use the piano instead of the harpsichord?? But then i realized that the harpsichord has a unique and fun timbre that adds a lot to the personality of this concert, congratulations!!! I loved it :)
Im glad you thought so!!
Dude, you are a real person not just an internet being, that's crazyyy
Alltid roligt att höra dina varierade geniala stycken!
I see!! 😅
Beautiful ❤️
Awesome!!
Thanks!
Bravo
This really gallops like a well-bred horse!
Unique description:) Thanks!
Väldigt snyggt! Jag uppskattar introduktionen väldigt mycket, den visar en dimension jag inte har sett hos dig så mycket tidigare! Hade gärna spelat någon gång :)
(Ganska Prokofiev på nåt sätt)
How do you come up with these gems one after the other? As always a very strong and memorable theme brilliantly written. Witty and crisp. It is both delicate and powerful with the contrast between the quicksilver harpsicord and the pounding timpani; the strings are elegant and add a balancing legato element...The dissonances here are the most delightful perhaps of any you've imagined. Bravo. I can see you've created a 3 movement form that is also a single sonata form type movement...my only reservation is the amount of repetition here for such a short work. The two equal halves of the 1st movement remind me of the Boccherini symphonies, which used that structure...as charming as they are they are structurally simpler compared to Haydn and in that sense less satisfying than a more extensively developed movement. I would encourage you to expand this and develop the ideas further as they are just wonderful and 1st rate.
Thanks! I completely agree with you, structurally is this work kind of weak and I will probably revise it due to that, thanks anyways John! Its a pleasure having a listener as you!
Wow Kofi. This is genius. The opening is incredible.
Thanks thanks!
Du hade väldigt roligt när du gjorde det här? Ett levande och komplext verk. Mycket underhållande, intressant och vackert✨️🎶✨️💐
Ja, det kan man säga;) Tack som alltid!
Wonderful !
Helt fantastiskt. Roligt och underhållande. Mycket skikligt komponerat!
Tackar!!
Oh, it _did_ works incredibly well...😮 I love your style.
Thanks!!
@@kofiLjunggren I can feel some Schnitke and Poulenc influence in your work.
@@j.thomas1420 Excactly what I was thinking when I was writing it!
Ive never heard anything like this before, congrats lol, its awesome
Thanks so much, haha:)
So charming and lively. Perfectly suited to your playful and rhythmically vital musical character...but then there is that jazzy side to your style throughout. I love the humor of the dissonance here. It's such a playful use of it and it works to a kind of loopy perfection. I can imagine this becoming a staple at 4th of July pops concerts.
Hahah yes, thanks:) Im pleased you fought so John!
I adore this work. I have listened to it too many times, have you recorded the rest of the movements?
Thanks that really means a lot! I haven’t recorded the rest:)
Great work. Nice performance!
Thanks so much!!
Congratulation’s Kofi!
