I could imagine that the terapagos could use some special attack or effect while holding the terastal energy thus the promos could be terapagos forms.

There are a few factors you never touched on and I'm going to explain a little about why data doesn't mean nothing now for past 5 years, so we went through a period when most people were on lockdown and so with nothing to do and plenty of time on their hands they bought pokemon cards, pushing up sales and creating a boom in the product. They also changed the border colour on the cards of which many people didn't like, also there is a trend by popular UA-camrs to push certain cards from certain sets into the limelight hence forcing every card in most sets to be worthless as a set and set a trend that means you only have a few cards worth buying which takes me to another point of "grading is what most people want to do. grade the same major cards in every new set. Pokemon cards in general have fell drastically in price for most cards in every set so collecting pokemon cards now consist of buy the dearest card in the set, grade it and sell it, it's not about collecting any more and this is why it's dying, people are struggling to sell any championship or special promos now because they are just not popular. Staff cards have fell through the floor as of special limited releases as I have stated earlier the only thing keeping pokemon from collapsing completley is new set chase cards 😊 An added note here too, AI is about to hit big time where they will copy almost anything for you including making 1st edition rare cards with errors if need be, so they will, over the next 5-10 years become worthless and that's the time needed to sit on your cards in order to make your profit.

I think this UPC will tank. It will have a variety of the SV year 1 sets just like the Sword and Shield first UPC. The Zamazenta and Zacian UPC which was probably the weakest UPC to be released.

I’m in Japan now a box is around 30$ at Pokemon center 290¥ a pack like a 1.5$ a pack they have to put limits because they sell out quick because people are creating a false resale value

This is just an assumption but my guess is that the terastal energy are for a new mechanic. Something like terastal ex Pokémon will be possibly colorless, but you can attach a new terastal energy and it becomes that type

At some point it really becomes a little much. 4 sets a year is perfect. 5 becomes tiring. But 6 sets a year is really just a bummer. It's a battle to feel like you're not missing out on a set. Going in a little deeper on a particular set often means having to go light or even skip a set altogether. That goes more for people on even tighter budgets. As a company you don't want to make people feel like they are missing out

The new dragon set

This was pretty hard to watch no energy monotone throughout the entire thing staring at comments from Reddit I had to zoom through it a couple times and still had a hard time watching. Maybe try including a little personality in your videos it will go a long way

151 turned out to be a great set. I slept on the 151 upc and now it went up to 160 here. The Charizard upc was as low as 125 and now is 199 :/ At this point I'll just fish for the singles I want for 151. I really like the box and contents in the 151 one but given my luck I wouldn't end up pulling anything good anys. Curious to see this one coming up but I would say the last few sets I haven't been feeling.

Best buy has been having better deals lately. I got an iono as well with a couple other things. The promo card comes separately for me from the rest of the products. I like to rip a case of booster boxes for each set and throw another one in the closet. It's certainly cheaper to buy singles but where is the fun in that? Also, game nerdz almost always has the best preorder deals plus they don't charge tax and their free ship is only $75.

Its literally never "worth" ripping. No set EVER is worth opening. Youll always lose money. Opening packs is the point of the trading card game. If you cant handle losing money, than stay in the closet with your towers of sealed product while everyone else whos normal and not money hungry has fun. Money hungerys need to stay their ass inside.
