@SaintIrving look at his weapon more closely again. The weapon itself changes in SM and SP1. It follows the same pattern, i.e., swipe, rush/lunge and counter. But it's slightly different because the weapons are different in both moves. Ikkaku's spear changes to a nunchuck like spear even in the manga.

Mm sounds incorrect to me bud. How is it the same if the attack moves different, has different frames, had more or less attacks? It’s not “just stronger” if something changes. His bio says he has more moves than most characters. There are characters with 4 moves like yoruichi, hisagi, etc.. if the moves varies in anything other than damage, but especially movement & hits, it’s not “the same move”. Similar, yes. Same, no.

@@nyceone43 thankfully no. He would be broken if so haha. It says it allows him to fight with more energy = his SP1 & Signature Move are enhanced aka stronger from the description.

Me too! Those are usually fun characters & you can switch based on situations. Like Shinji too! I’m stoked they gave him “more than the eye can see” since some people just think he’s only got 3 moves, period. They in for a surprise 😈

Good question! The interesting thing about Ikkaku is his activation is the stance, not the technique & I see there’s no real difference between his aura in either move nor anything to tell you which technique he will do which is how Ikkaku could play mind games with you & keep you guessing. Since he’s doing his stance as time stops, you have to be very careful around him because he’ll already be ready to do the move he wishes.

@@xion0713 me too! The website says more are coming soon on the shinigami but it might just be defaulted to that as many website have that but it does give me hope. Also, Yumi is mentioned in Ikkaku’s bio & Momo in Aizen & Shinji so that helps make me think they definitely thought about them. Listen, if Ina can get a model, I better see these two in here 😂

I may have spoken too fast. I think I meant Toshiro instead of Shinji (was thinking of her captains) but yeah, she’s mentioned twice at least. It feels odd that they wouldn’t include her. I wasn’t even the biggest fan but the more I think about it, the more I’m like MOMO for president cause ain’t no way you gonna leave her out the fight like that 😭 I want her to get her comebacks for being literally backstabbed 😮‍💨 imagine a peak momo online taking everyone out. @SaintIrving yeah shinji is probably going to be a hard character to master but I've mained infamous hard characters before . My tekken main is xiaoyu, who's usually considered one of the hardest characters in tekken to play for example I'll manage.
