I agree roster sizes have nothing to do with the quality or long standing popularity a game will have. There are games out there with small size rosters and an undying player base. Quality, Balance and Community are important. A roster can always be grown later , if the characters are treated with respect which they seem to be from all this gameplay, people will keep gassing up the game and sequels, and if it plays fair people will stick with it especially when it's our only game.
Heat the Soul series took 7 games to get to that large roster and not one single game of that series covered from the beginning til the end of Arrancar arc, each game covered specific parts of the story with 7 covering a part of Arrancar arc only. Characters were just being carried over from game to game, Bleach Rebirth of Souls is actually the first Bleach game to cover from the start til the end of the Arrancar arc, something people don't seem to realize.
I predict around 35 characters and I think Ikkaku, Hisagi, Momo, Komamura, Shunsui, Nnoitra, Halibel, Barrigan, Stark will make the base roster for sure. Also I think Yumichika, Ukitake, Aaro Niero and Szayalaporro have a chance too but I'm not sure about. Then there is Orihime, White Ichigo and Dangai Ichigo, I'm not even sure Orihime will be playable anymore but White and Dangai Ichigo I'm sure about.

He fights completely different from Ichigo and should have more spinning and tossing of the Zanpakuto in incorporated in his moveset than base Ichigo who just has the SP move Wielding. I don't think he would have been teased way back then if he was just gonna be a skin.
I don't want a 50+ character roster lol. I'm used to fighting games that have 20 UNIQUE characters on release. 30 is actually a big roster when the characters don't all do the same shit
Agreed, 20-30 unique characters would take a while to master & then by then, we should have DLC release. Don’t know if you played JJK but that was the most recent example of “every character fights entirely different”

Another great video! I'm thinking 30 characters for the base roster + the 4 DLC characters. I also hope they give this game the post launch support it deserves with multiple DLC seasons/character passes. And hopefully Bandai sticks with Tamsoft for the TYBW sequel because it's taken way too long for a Bleach game to finally fall into the hands of a studio who knows what they're doing. I honestly don't trust another dev to deliver this quality.
@@georgetrentos2094 thank you! And agreed! Tamsoft really has shown their chops with this game & theyll be compared to established companies like CC2 & others. I really like the way the game has been made & I fully expect the game to have support because they have already promised DLCs to be released from march 2025 to march 2026 which tells me they plan on dropping characters slowly(1 every 3 months?) which means they can do patches if any bugs are found or balancing is needed. I expect this will be their “test” to see if we are enjoying the game, should make more content etc. we as a community just need to support the game. Of course, if we see any issue we don’t have to glaze the game & say it’s prefect but we can support a game even in the event it’s not perfect. Too many games fail when the community just gives up on it & changes narratives in my experience
I think that Szaylaporro has pretty high chances of being playable, just because of how many fights with characters that are already confirmed to be playable he has in the story, add to that uniqueness of his powers, and making him playable could be easily justified by these things alone. Also he was the best candidate I could think of when asking myself who could be next from efficiently standpoint.
Well, I wasn't expected to wake up and see the Szaylaporro's trailer, but it is nice to see that my thinking/guess was correct. Well, next on the list of efficiency is Noitora just because of the fact that he fights Kenpachi and Nel (iirc this might be her only fight(s) in the story, so an extra reason to make it interesting).
Respectfully this game is trying to make every character play uniquely to them and as much as i love Sparking Zero almost every character plays the exact same excluding the special moves and ultimates
To add to this, I'd prefer slightly broken characters with accurate abilities than have butchering of characters in the name of balance. Like Gin having double range.
Some people don't know that this game aims to give each character a unique play style. In my opinion, a small roster with distinct characters is better than a huge roster where the only difference is the character models. I want to feel like I'm playing a different character when I try out various options. For example, when I play with Uliquera, I want to feel that he is different from when I play play Ichigo.
Exactly! For all the shit it got, I can at least say JJK succeeded in that element & I think Bleach will to. No two characters play exactly the same & you can’t use the same tactics as you would in each battle. That’s one of the best things I love in a fighting game. Playing as Gojo was VERY different than playing as Nobara but both felt satisfying to the lore & the character. My Hero also did a great job at this concept.
If any of the visoreds are going to be in the game, the most likely one is Hachigan. The games already showed that the developers have a soft spot for kido and kido using characters, and Hachi is the most important visored in fake karakura town arc to the plot by far. He also has the most diverse moveset to pull from, next to Kensei.

Agreed. There are 12 weeks not including this one so I think we’ll get at least 8 more but I’m hopeful for more but will be fine if not. DLC disclosure says they’ll be released by march 2026 so that tells me we’ll be getting them revealed slowly so the game will get updates every few months
32. Allows them to market is as "more than 30 characters" and fits pretty well with the amount of weeks left with a character per week, with some breaks as we have already seen. And I think 32 characters is fine. It's a good amount for the first game in a new series with the characters being this diverse. If the game does well I could see 3 season passes on top of that so 12 more characters total if they stick to 4 per pass.

I can see Shunsui being the main with Ukitaki jumping in with his shikai to bounce back projectiles, the awakening being Shunsui 'getting serious' with his shikai. >3) Ikkau + Yumichika - I would love for these two to be switch in/switch out (ala Sheik and Zelda from Smash?) to reference each other's secret ability. You have to choose which one awakens and stick with that throughout the rest of the battle: either Ikkau's bankai or Yumi's true shikai >4) Komomura - because Tozen. Logically a rushdown character again, but I do kinda hope they do something different. Maybe they make him a bit of a big body type that hits like a brick and has a lot of hyper armor. Does kinda fit with what we see vs Aizen. As long as we can play him in Final Getsuga Tensho form I'll be happy though.

The problem with Orihime is that she doesn't use Flash Steps, so I don't think we'll see her as a playable character unless they replace her flash Steps with something unique to her.
I think they can fix that with "Bringer Light" and also, in TYBW, she was able to move REALLY FAST when coming to heal ichigo from Ywhach's wounds & throwing a shield fast enough to defend against Gerard and rebound an attack so i think they'll come up with something. They have been subtly boasting her prowess. She can even float in the anime with her shield or if she has her shield up (she defended the gang aganist Uryu's Licht Regen in Cour 2). Since she was confirmed to be full bringer, they may give her something relating bringer light. Granted i know we are in soul soceity but still doable.
I'm pretty satisfied with what we have so far (got all my gurls Rangiku, Soifon, Yoruichi hopefully Hinamori gets in one of these upcoming trailers) but as for the rest I can assume we might get maybe 7 - 10 characters.

W video as always. Bleach ROS is prioritizing quality over quantity, which is great. we've only seen demo characters, and there's so much talk about it.
I think people should really look at the characters we already have to see who is gonna be in the game after this. For example, I was already certain Szayel would be in the game because Mayuri's trailer has one of his Konpaku moves being the thousand year poison or whatever he uses on Szayel. If my logic on this is correct (and its fairly reasonable), someone like Hallibel is very likely to be in the game since shes the target of Hitsugaya's final Konpaku move (the ice flowers blooming into a tower). Compare this with the Pink pumpkin espada and his fight with byakuya. none of byakuya's moves (and weve seen them all) indicate that he needs to be in the game, nor is he a fan favorite, so its likely he wont appear. Barragan is the target of Soifon's bankai which we know is in the game as a konpaku move, so Barragan will be in the game. Lastly, Tosen doesn't have his hollowfication form in the character trailer we saw (and confirmed on the japanese page movelists) so its unlikely that hisagi will be in the game to me, even though hes a bit of a fan favorite character. There might be others im missing. I think if someone like Rangiku is in the game, theres definitely room for Yumichika and Ikkaku.
Also I should specify that theres plenty of content left to create the hollow tosen character, since his bankai is replaced by full hollowfication. This would end up implying komamura, but if a komamura character trailer it likely doesnt imply that were getting tosen, since his shikai and bankai were also used in the soul society arc.
So far they have gone with the safest options when it comes to characters, which is fine, so far we have seen great gameplay but we are yet to see how and if they are going to put risky characters such as Yami. They already showed how they are going to deal with large type of bankais such as Mayuri's poison which i kinda dislike, it makes no sense for his big bankai to just sit behind the screen and just buff him with more poison dps but i guess its hard to implement such bankais and have them being enjoyable and balanced, so lets see how they implement Komamura and hopefully Yami aswell, it makes no sense to not have the "strongest" espada on the launch roster. Honestly if it was me i would probably just let Yami be in shikai form for 80% of the matchup and after he has taken enough damage, he can use his rage to transform into the centaur form which would be hard to be balanced and fun but there are plenty of ways for that to happen, i guess its the same with Aaroniero, so overall im hyped for this game but there are surely risky characters and we have to see how they are going to tackle them. As i said for me what they have done with Mayuri isnt good, its not proper implementation of his bankai.
Valid concern. I like how they did Mayuri’s bankai but I admit it was a safe choice. I was thinking it’d be on the field like renjis bankai or other big body transformations
Great video! Hisagi not making the roster would break my heart. Not a dealbreaker of course. No Ukitake would be sad to but I can understand that more. Also Rose is one of my favorites of the Vizards. I would love (no pun intended) if he made it

Yeah all the Espada have a chance, the higher the number, the less of a chance I feel. Yami is the exception to that though.. as for the vizards, I’d say hachi also has a good amount of moves he showed so they could put something together but Kensei for sure & Rose.
11:09 If they include the Shirosaki version of Ichigos zanpakuto, they need to add that unique one time getsuga tensho he did that creates a domed explosion off a stationary blade without a sword slash
9:08 nnoitora is the most durable espada. He was just unfortunate to fight zaraki 10:40 i don't think zangetsu would be a separate character. He'll just be a reskin of ichigo. Maybe an extra costume. Honestly, I don't think zangetsu should even be playable.

They’ve been teasing Zangetsu ALOT so I think he might be playable but who knows.. maybe they’ll release Zangetsu at the same time as Dangai Ichigo. Zangetsu does fight a little more wild & critiques him for not using him better so I think he’ll use the sword in a better way
(Potential spoiler ahead) I feel like ANY character that appears in the game, You see fighting OR fight against, WILL be on the roster, Reason? You literally see them fight (This should be fucking obviouse to everyone), they already have all their attacks and animations finished in the base game, the only thing stopping them from NOT being on the roster, is the Devs just not placing them on said Roster as a choice, otherwise, it won't take any extra development cost to add said character, since they're already completed and finished, It's just a matter of rigging the Camera to said Character. It's the same reason 99% of characters that don't appear in games as playable, are still playable shortly after launch using Mods, It's because they're already done, they're technically "playable", it's just that, the devs choose for whatever reason, to not release a public possible way to play said NPC/Character. You can easyily tell the roster, by looking through the history of Bleach, We've so far seen up to Azien vs Genryusai (around the time Wonderweiss should appear), So logically speaking, This game will likely end after the final battle between Ichigo and Aizen, Leaving ichigo powerless and allowing the Devs, to make a DLC or 2nd game, Where you start out powerless, Then do all the Fullbringer stuff/etc. Personally, I'd prefer Fullbring as a DLC arc, since Combining Fullbring and TYBW into a single game, Would lead to a "7month-1year" time skip when you're already HOURS into the game, many people HATE when shows/games do Time Skips, especially Mid-Story time skips, imo, Fullbring as a DLC fits perfect into the release of RoS, It would allow them to release DLC Characters for Fullbring Arc as well, while they work on TYBW game behind the scenes. Before anyone says it, The reason I know TYBW WON'T appear in this game, There are 2 reason. 1 - It's literally WAY to much to add, it can easyily be it's own game 2 - The 4th part of TYBW hasn't even aired yet... we JUST finished part 3 and shouldn't expect Part 4 until late next year at earliest. Because of this, We literally don't HAVE VA's in ENG or JP yet for anything in Part 4. TLDR - Any character you see Fight or fight against, Will be on the roster, or stagnantly released over a short period, If they're not, It's because the Devs choose to do so for whatever reason, Likely DLC or an unbalacable Character (Orihime comes to mind), The game will likely play up until Ichigo losses his powers, So however many fights we see during this, Will be how many playable characters will appear on the roster or DLC, Currently, It looks to end when Ichigo losses his powers.

Probably around 35-40 if they do multi character reveal trailers as the game approaches. It would be criminal not to include hisagi base game considering izuru and rangiku made it with much less impactful fights

Komamura's Bankai is too big to be a puppet character is what I was thinking. Shadow Labrys Asterius is huge too though it's still a lot smaller in comparison. From what I've seen before it'll be interesting to see how they do it for him

91 characters is crazy in just 1 game that just made it to the world biggest anime gaming company "Namco bandai", i dont think it would happen at all! ppl dont understand the "game industry's" is like the "music industry"! Bleach just happen to finally make it to mainstream gaming community and caught the attention of namco bandai being developed by Tamsoft!
At this point I think we'll have 31 characters for the base game, 35 with the DLC, hopefully we'll get a TYBW sequel in the coming years 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 As for the characters in the roster, I don't think Orihime, the other Vizards and the last three Espada will make in the game, they will be story mode characters, story enemies only in the case of the Espada
I can’t say that I agree with the small roster part. I like it when video games have big character rosters. Yes each character should be as unique as possible when it comes to certain stuff, but I’m pretty sure a big roster could still have those characteristics

It just wouldn’t be logical to get our hopes up for one given the time we have left for reveals, their current pace & the particular circumstances this game is undergoing, I don’t see them making a “big” roster of 50+ plus. 30 to start or more knowing more are on the way should be fine. I mean, look at rivals. People going crazy & it doesn’t have a huge roster.
I'm just hoping my boy Hisagi makes the cut. Nnoitra and Starrk feel like a given so I'm not worried. Can't wait to use the Sternritters when another game in the far future comes out
Couldn’t agree more. I am wondering if we might even get Sternritters in THIS game. They already have TYBW outfits, they have the coloring intentionally to match TYBW as they stated when they announced the game & we have potential dlc. They could have TYBW in this game from the looks of it as expansion/DLC

I think Nnoitra is stronger than you think. He fought Bankai Ichigo and Resurection Nel in his base form and then went on to fight Kenpachi back-to-back.
30-35 characters are perfectly fine, remember the more characters the more the balancing will become a issue, especially in that art of fighting system in the game. the 90+ chars take is insane😂
I think Vasto Lorde is locked behind Bankai Ichigo & im glad he is. It’d be like having the last form of Aizen as base.. the game is built off comeback mechanics so Dangai should be in but idk about vasto lorde as his own character.. don’t see it.

I rather that then not transforming in battles between bankais & forms maybe in the next bleach rebirth soul 2 they can try to add that in as you can reversed yourself in battle, from the character selection screen transformation going from vasto lorde the start of the match to bankai ichigo
I just want more characters than we got with soul resurrection …that was my biggest problem with that game not enough characters …and if your going to cover 3 arc’s I need all the characters that had fights in those arcs to be playable I waited to long for a new bleach game not to get a lot of characters to be able to play but that’s just me lol

You're mistaken regarding to Nnoitra. He has officially the strongest Hierro of all the Espadas and for Zaraki to slice him down, it took him taking off his eyepatch and using his two hands instead of one like he usually do. So if anything, he would probably be one of the tankiest and most high damage character in the roster with Zaraki. Other than that, great video as always bro. You're probably one of the best analyst for this game right now. Keep up the good work 🔥

@@DISCHARGE2-3 although I know it didn’t do well, when I played JJK, each character fought so differently you could throw the same button & get the same reaction because of range, technique etc & it released with with less than 20 characters at launch and a shitty story mode and game still survived 10 months of low player & got two DLCs. This game will be fine with at least unique 30 characters AND we are getting more characters coming soon WITH TYBW drip? The game will do fine if not great! It may not perform BEST given story mode criticism but it will do well, of that I’m sure. I have two MAINS in mind and have tactics for them and even my strategies for them are different because of their fighting styles.
I hear people talk as if the dlc is gone be filled with tybw characters because there aren't enough characters anymore that people would buy dlc fir and i disagree like anyone out of you predictions would be hype for either gameplay ir character reasons and there are still more characters that would be hyoe that you didn't even mention ishin, unohana, isane, ganyu, ryuken, harribel's fraciône and probably even more all i'm saying is that we have a lot of potential for dlc that isn't tybw and we will definitely get a sequel if this game does well
I considered those characters but for one of the 6 reasons, they aren’t in here yet. Only 10 weeks left & still too many important main characters to the story that they wouldn’t include those you mentioned imo.. BUT DLC OR SEQUEL is always a possibility depending on success

@ the issue is we likely wouldn’t be getting that game ANY time soon & solely depends on this first games success. Also it’s easier to add to a game than to make an entirely new game. Asking for ANOTHER game as its first game comes out seems at bit.. ambitious all things considered & feels too early. If a sequel was made, it wouldn’t come out till 2028 at the earliest and would likely be more like 2029-2030 so I wouldn’t hold our breathes. Games aren’t easy to develop. It’s easier to add content as long as the game is built for it and we already know it’s been designed to fit TYBW & are getting some skins which means it’s VERY likely. As I mentioned in the video, popularity matters & while the characters you mentioned are great, they aren’t as important to the story and would need to have move constructed or aren’t part of the story in a big way to be added like Unohana is much more involved in TYBW as a fighter so it’d be safe to say she won’t be added to base. A good dlc CAN in fact do it justice along with a sequel, it just depends on how it’s done.
Yes let's have a roster of 100 characters and half of them are just the same character with the same move with a different skin. That's cool for dbz but i don't want that for bleach. Besides sparking zero had a big roster and still lost 90% of it's players in a month.

@ nahhhh Tosen was literally my main from day 1 💀 He’s definitely a favorite among some people but definitely not everyone. But as one of the 3 main traitors, not having him would be crazy. We did think we’d get a second monster Tosen too but that looks like that’s not happening.
Honestly the game needs ichigo and friends, Gotei 13, vizards, espada, and a few lieutenants and that should be enough. Thats around 40 characters. I don't really see who else they could ad and why. They could spend time adding Iba testuzaimon or Ganju or someone like Roka but who would want to play with them. There is no point in having more than that imo. And nice video. People brag about a big roster but when the game settles in they’ll only use about 5-10 of the meta characters cause everybody wants to win aside from the few outliers of people. I don’t get the hype around big rosters if your aren’t even gonna use 20% of it 💀💀. Sparking zero is a legit prime example. Big roster but you only see like 5% of the cast
Yeppp, big rosters are fun & I’ve enjoyed the variety but with metas and such, unless the game is balanced like what Tamsoft is doing with RoS, they end up being largely unused.

I agree roster sizes have nothing to do with the quality or long standing popularity a game will have.
There are games out there with small size rosters and an undying player base.
Quality, Balance and Community are important. A roster can always be grown later , if the characters are treated with respect which they seem to be from all this gameplay, people will keep gassing up the game and sequels, and if it plays fair people will stick with it especially when it's our only game.

Heat the Soul series took 7 games to get to that large roster and not one single game of that series covered from the beginning til the end of Arrancar arc, each game covered specific parts of the story with 7 covering a part of Arrancar arc only. Characters were just being carried over from game to game, Bleach Rebirth of Souls is actually the first Bleach game to cover from the start til the end of the Arrancar arc, something people don't seem to realize.

Then there is Orihime, White Ichigo and Dangai Ichigo, I'm not even sure Orihime will be playable anymore but White and Dangai Ichigo I'm sure about.

He fights completely different from Ichigo and should have more spinning and tossing of the Zanpakuto in incorporated in his moveset than base Ichigo who just has the SP move Wielding. I don't think he would have been teased way back then if he was just gonna be a skin.

Nnoitra's deal is that his Hierro is the strongest amongst all espada (allegedly), so him being kind of lile Kempachi would make sense.

Another great video! I'm thinking 30 characters for the base roster + the 4 DLC characters. I also hope they give this game the post launch support it deserves with multiple DLC seasons/character passes. And hopefully Bandai sticks with Tamsoft for the TYBW sequel because it's taken way too long for a Bleach game to finally fall into the hands of a studio who knows what they're doing. I honestly don't trust another dev to deliver this quality.

@@georgetrentos2094 thank you! And agreed! Tamsoft really has shown their chops with this game & theyll be compared to established companies like CC2 & others. I really like the way the game has been made & I fully expect the game to have support because they have already promised DLCs to be released from march 2025 to march 2026 which tells me they plan on dropping characters slowly(1 every 3 months?) which means they can do patches if any bugs are found or balancing is needed.
I expect this will be their “test” to see if we are enjoying the game, should make more content etc. we as a community just need to support the game. Of course, if we see any issue we don’t have to glaze the game & say it’s prefect but we can support a game even in the event it’s not perfect. Too many games fail when the community just gives up on it & changes narratives in my experience
I think that Szaylaporro has pretty high chances of being playable, just because of how many fights with characters that are already confirmed to be playable he has in the story, add to that uniqueness of his powers, and making him playable could be easily justified by these things alone.
Also he was the best candidate I could think of when asking myself who could be next from efficiently standpoint.

Some people don't know that this game aims to give each character a unique play style. In my opinion, a small roster with distinct characters is better than a huge roster where the only difference is the character models. I want to feel like I'm playing a different character when I try out various options. For example, when I play with Uliquera, I want to feel that he is different from when I play play Ichigo.
Exactly! For all the shit it got, I can at least say JJK succeeded in that element & I think Bleach will to. No two characters play exactly the same & you can’t use the same tactics as you would in each battle. That’s one of the best things I love in a fighting game. Playing as Gojo was VERY different than playing as Nobara but both felt satisfying to the lore & the character. My Hero also did a great job at this concept.

If any of the visoreds are going to be in the game, the most likely one is Hachigan. The games already showed that the developers have a soft spot for kido and kido using characters, and Hachi is the most important visored in fake karakura town arc to the plot by far. He also has the most diverse moveset to pull from, next to Kensei.

Agreed. There are 12 weeks not including this one so I think we’ll get at least 8 more but I’m hopeful for more but will be fine if not. DLC disclosure says they’ll be released by march 2026 so that tells me we’ll be getting them revealed slowly so the game will get updates every few months

And I think 32 characters is fine. It's a good amount for the first game in a new series with the characters being this diverse.

>3) Ikkau + Yumichika - I would love for these two to be switch in/switch out (ala Sheik and Zelda from Smash?) to reference each other's secret ability. You have to choose which one awakens and stick with that throughout the rest of the battle: either Ikkau's bankai or Yumi's true shikai

The problem with Orihime is that she doesn't use Flash Steps, so I don't think we'll see her as a playable character unless they replace her flash Steps with something unique to her.
I think they can fix that with "Bringer Light" and also, in TYBW, she was able to move REALLY FAST when coming to heal ichigo from Ywhach's wounds & throwing a shield fast enough to defend against Gerard and rebound an attack so i think they'll come up with something. They have been subtly boasting her prowess. She can even float in the anime with her shield or if she has her shield up (she defended the gang aganist Uryu's Licht Regen in Cour 2). Since she was confirmed to be full bringer, they may give her something relating bringer light. Granted i know we are in soul soceity but still doable.

we've only seen demo characters, and there's so much talk about it.
I think people should really look at the characters we already have to see who is gonna be in the game after this. For example, I was already certain Szayel would be in the game because Mayuri's trailer has one of his Konpaku moves being the thousand year poison or whatever he uses on Szayel. If my logic on this is correct (and its fairly reasonable), someone like Hallibel is very likely to be in the game since shes the target of Hitsugaya's final Konpaku move (the ice flowers blooming into a tower). Compare this with the Pink pumpkin espada and his fight with byakuya. none of byakuya's moves (and weve seen them all) indicate that he needs to be in the game, nor is he a fan favorite, so its likely he wont appear. Barragan is the target of Soifon's bankai which we know is in the game as a konpaku move, so Barragan will be in the game. Lastly, Tosen doesn't have his hollowfication form in the character trailer we saw (and confirmed on the japanese page movelists) so its unlikely that hisagi will be in the game to me, even though hes a bit of a fan favorite character. There might be others im missing. I think if someone like Rangiku is in the game, theres definitely room for Yumichika and Ikkaku.
And also Noitra given the Nel and Kenpachi fights.
Also I should specify that theres plenty of content left to create the hollow tosen character, since his bankai is replaced by full hollowfication. This would end up implying komamura, but if a komamura character trailer it likely doesnt imply that were getting tosen, since his shikai and bankai were also used in the soul society arc.
So far they have gone with the safest options when it comes to characters, which is fine, so far we have seen great gameplay but we are yet to see how and if they are going to put risky characters such as Yami. They already showed how they are going to deal with large type of bankais such as Mayuri's poison which i kinda dislike, it makes no sense for his big bankai to just sit behind the screen and just buff him with more poison dps but i guess its hard to implement such bankais and have them being enjoyable and balanced, so lets see how they implement Komamura and hopefully Yami aswell, it makes no sense to not have the "strongest" espada on the launch roster. Honestly if it was me i would probably just let Yami be in shikai form for 80% of the matchup and after he has taken enough damage, he can use his rage to transform into the centaur form which would be hard to be balanced and fun but there are plenty of ways for that to happen, i guess its the same with Aaroniero, so overall im hyped for this game but there are surely risky characters and we have to see how they are going to tackle them. As i said for me what they have done with Mayuri isnt good, its not proper implementation of his bankai.

Yeah all the Espada have a chance, the higher the number, the less of a chance I feel. Yami is the exception to that though.. as for the vizards, I’d say hachi also has a good amount of moves he showed so they could put something together but Kensei for sure & Rose.

They’ve been teasing Zangetsu ALOT so I think he might be playable but who knows.. maybe they’ll release Zangetsu at the same time as Dangai Ichigo. Zangetsu does fight a little more wild & critiques him for not using him better so I think he’ll use the sword in a better way

(Potential spoiler ahead) I feel like ANY character that appears in the game, You see fighting OR fight against, WILL be on the roster, Reason?
You literally see them fight (This should be fucking obviouse to everyone), they already have all their attacks and animations finished in the base game, the only thing stopping them from NOT being on the roster, is the Devs just not placing them on said Roster as a choice, otherwise, it won't take any extra development cost to add said character, since they're already completed and finished, It's just a matter of rigging the Camera to said Character. It's the same reason 99% of characters that don't appear in games as playable, are still playable shortly after launch using Mods, It's because they're already done, they're technically "playable", it's just that, the devs choose for whatever reason, to not release a public possible way to play said NPC/Character. You can easyily tell the roster, by looking through the history of Bleach, We've so far seen up to Azien vs Genryusai (around the time Wonderweiss should appear), So logically speaking, This game will likely end after the final battle between Ichigo and Aizen, Leaving ichigo powerless and allowing the Devs, to make a DLC or 2nd game, Where you start out powerless, Then do all the Fullbringer stuff/etc.
Personally, I'd prefer Fullbring as a DLC arc, since Combining Fullbring and TYBW into a single game, Would lead to a "7month-1year" time skip when you're already HOURS into the game, many people HATE when shows/games do Time Skips, especially Mid-Story time skips, imo, Fullbring as a DLC fits perfect into the release of RoS, It would allow them to release DLC Characters for Fullbring Arc as well, while they work on TYBW game behind the scenes.
Before anyone says it, The reason I know TYBW WON'T appear in this game, There are 2 reason.
1 - It's literally WAY to much to add, it can easyily be it's own game
2 - The 4th part of TYBW hasn't even aired yet... we JUST finished part 3 and shouldn't expect Part 4 until late next year at earliest. Because of this, We literally don't HAVE VA's in ENG or JP yet for anything in Part 4.
TLDR - Any character you see Fight or fight against, Will be on the roster, or stagnantly released over a short period, If they're not, It's because the Devs choose to do so for whatever reason, Likely DLC or an unbalacable Character (Orihime comes to mind), The game will likely play up until Ichigo losses his powers, So however many fights we see during this, Will be how many playable characters will appear on the roster or DLC, Currently, It looks to end when Ichigo losses his powers.
i want Tensa zangetsus "young zangetsus" in the game fused with "white ichigo" if we can get white ichigo fused with tensa zangetsus thats cool too!

91 characters is crazy in just 1 game that just made it to the world biggest anime gaming company "Namco bandai", i dont think it would happen at all! ppl dont understand the "game industry's" is like the "music industry"! Bleach just happen to finally make it to mainstream gaming community and caught the attention of namco bandai being developed by Tamsoft!
At this point I think we'll have 31 characters for the base game, 35 with the DLC, hopefully we'll get a TYBW sequel in the coming years 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
As for the characters in the roster, I don't think Orihime, the other Vizards and the last three Espada will make in the game, they will be story mode characters, story enemies only in the case of the Espada

I can’t say that I agree with the small roster part. I like it when video games have big character rosters. Yes each character should be as unique as possible when it comes to certain stuff, but I’m pretty sure a big roster could still have those characteristics

It just wouldn’t be logical to get our hopes up for one given the time we have left for reveals, their current pace & the particular circumstances this game is undergoing, I don’t see them making a “big” roster of 50+ plus. 30 to start or more knowing more are on the way should be fine. I mean, look at rivals. People going crazy & it doesn’t have a huge roster.
I'm just hoping my boy Hisagi makes the cut. Nnoitra and Starrk feel like a given so I'm not worried.

Couldn’t agree more. I am wondering if we might even get Sternritters in THIS game. They already have TYBW outfits, they have the coloring intentionally to match TYBW as they stated when they announced the game & we have potential dlc. They could have TYBW in this game from the looks of it as expansion/DLC

I think Nnoitra is stronger than you think. He fought Bankai Ichigo and Resurection Nel in his base form and then went on to fight Kenpachi back-to-back.
30-35 characters are perfectly fine, remember the more characters the more the balancing will become a issue, especially in that art of fighting system in the game. the 90+ chars take is insane😂

Agreed 30-40 is a good number for a roster this unique. We still don’t even know how Rangiku fights in Shikai 😮💨 there’s so much yet to uncover.

I think Vasto Lorde is locked behind Bankai Ichigo & im glad he is. It’d be like having the last form of Aizen as base.. the game is built off comeback mechanics so Dangai should be in but idk about vasto lorde as his own character.. don’t see it.

I rather that then not transforming in battles between bankais & forms maybe in the next bleach rebirth soul 2 they can try to add that in as you can reversed yourself in battle, from the character selection screen transformation going from vasto lorde the start of the match to bankai ichigo

I just want more characters than we got with soul resurrection …that was my biggest problem with that game not enough characters …and if your going to cover 3 arc’s I need all the characters that had fights in those arcs to be playable I waited to long for a new bleach game not to get a lot of characters to be able to play but that’s just me lol

If Hiyori is apart of Shinji's moveset i think that automatically makes her and the other visords non playable, sadly.
I don’t think it necessarily rules out everyone else but she was popular herself & we knew some of her moves so it does make them all unlikely. Also we didn’t see them in a story scene that rose & love are normally in
You're mistaken regarding to Nnoitra. He has officially the strongest Hierro of all the Espadas and for Zaraki to slice him down, it took him taking off his eyepatch and using his two hands instead of one like he usually do. So if anything, he would probably be one of the tankiest and most high damage character in the roster with Zaraki.

@@DISCHARGE2-3 although I know it didn’t do well, when I played JJK, each character fought so differently you could throw the same button & get the same reaction because of range, technique etc & it released with with less than 20 characters at launch and a shitty story mode and game still survived 10 months of low player & got two DLCs. This game will be fine with at least unique 30 characters AND we are getting more characters coming soon WITH TYBW drip? The game will do fine if not great! It may not perform BEST given story mode criticism but it will do well, of that I’m sure. I have two MAINS in mind and have tactics for them and even my strategies for them are different because of their fighting styles.
I hear people talk as if the dlc is gone be filled with tybw characters because there aren't enough characters anymore that people would buy dlc fir and i disagree like anyone out of you predictions would be hype for either gameplay ir character reasons and there are still more characters that would be hyoe that you didn't even mention ishin, unohana, isane, ganyu, ryuken, harribel's fraciône and probably even more all i'm saying is that we have a lot of potential for dlc that isn't tybw and we will definitely get a sequel if this game does well
I considered those characters but for one of the 6 reasons, they aren’t in here yet. Only 10 weeks left & still too many important main characters to the story that they wouldn’t include those you mentioned imo.. BUT DLC OR SEQUEL is always a possibility depending on success

@ the issue is we likely wouldn’t be getting that game ANY time soon & solely depends on this first games success. Also it’s easier to add to a game than to make an entirely new game. Asking for ANOTHER game as its first game comes out seems at bit.. ambitious all things considered & feels too early. If a sequel was made, it wouldn’t come out till 2028 at the earliest and would likely be more like 2029-2030 so I wouldn’t hold our breathes. Games aren’t easy to develop. It’s easier to add content as long as the game is built for it and we already know it’s been designed to fit TYBW & are getting some skins which means it’s VERY likely. As I mentioned in the video, popularity matters & while the characters you mentioned are great, they aren’t as important to the story and would need to have move constructed or aren’t part of the story in a big way to be added like Unohana is much more involved in TYBW as a fighter so it’d be safe to say she won’t be added to base. A good dlc CAN in fact do it justice along with a sequel, it just depends on how it’s done.
Yes let's have a roster of 100 characters and half of them are just the same character with the same move with a different skin. That's cool for dbz but i don't want that for bleach. Besides sparking zero had a big roster and still lost 90% of it's players in a month.

Honestly the game needs ichigo and friends, Gotei 13, vizards, espada, and a few lieutenants and that should be enough. Thats around 40 characters. I don't really see who else they could ad and why. They could spend time adding Iba testuzaimon or Ganju or someone like Roka but who would want to play with them. There is no point in having more than that imo. And nice video. Yeppp, big rosters are fun & I’ve enjoyed the variety but with metas and such, unless the game is balanced like what Tamsoft is doing with RoS, they end up being largely unused.
