What size is your words?
Absolutely beautiful
Thank you!
What’s the name of the fonts welcome
Hi on silhouette, it's called Nuchelle
Love it!
Love the color. I've been told to always stain or paint the same direction as the grain. Do you normally do that?
great question! I'm pretty sure I do 🙂
That was the best tutorial… thank you
Awe thank you! Glad to help☺
Beautiful ❤️
Great video! Just what I was looking for! One question. What is the largest round that it will cut in one cut? Specifically would it cut out a 12 inch round in one cut or would that have to be two cuts?
Hi great question! It would have to be done it two cuts the biggest circle it would probably cut in one round would be 8-9" inches. Hope this helps
@@alisgoods4541 Thank you! I Thank you! I purchased one and unfortunately discovered that my Wi-Fi is just not strong enough. I live in a rural area and only get internet through my mobile hot spot. The connectivity is just to spotty so I plan to sell it and go back to my old jig saw for cutting things out. Do you know of a sight that I may be able to sell? I was able to make one cut with the machine.
@@LeeScroggins-qe5fo awe sorry to hear that. No I do not off hand but I know it may be helpful to join a glowforge community group like on facebook. I'm pretty sure there was someone on there buying them for parts and a couple times I had seen a post from someone selling theirs.
@@alisgoods4541 Thank you. Mine worked perfectly. The Wi-Fi connectivity just isn’t reliable enough for me.
Where you buy the think for make the moño ♥️♥️ very good job ♥️
hello, I make the bow with a bow dabra you can get them from any craft store, like hobby lobby or Michael's
Thanks 🙏
Great Job!
thanks Scottie!🙂
Keep going👏👏, I'm a new follower , I think you have a lot , I will waite your videos for the new year 2023🌹🌻
Beautiful!
What size staples do you use?
Does your tape ever pull up “splinters” on the stained side
Hi, no I have not had that issue with the tape I use. It should be a painters tape or low tact tape🙂
What size staples do you use? I'm stuck until I know - so afraid they will go through to the other side.
Just found you and am an INSTANT fan! Thank you for sharing! I am brand new to creating and absolutely love wood signs. Now I feel a bit better about trying my own…..after I get that bowdabra! 😆
Awe yay! Thanks for the sweet words😁yes that bowdabra is quite nifty. You can also do them by hand. Happy crafting!
That looks amazing! I'd be afraid I can't keep the letters straight with the press n seal. 😆 I'll have to give it a try though.
Thank you! Yes you can😁 or you can also just use the transfer tape (not the strong). 😊
Beautiful
Thanks so much!😊
Love your work, how do I get a custom name? Can I purchase them from you? Thanks I'm doing this for my family reunion.
Hi thanks so much! My apologies about the delay yes you can absolutely purchase from me just direct message me on Instagram @alisgoods and let me know what you need 😊
I did the same with woodglut plans :)
Hello, I just subscribed from Wild and Wonderful West Virginia.
Did you have to seal them with anything after placing the vinyl on? Will they holding up against moisture without sealing?
Love IT!!
Do you think the glow forge is a good investment no regrets and do you sell your wood rounds
I do!! Especially if you are going to be making things to sell. The sky is the limit as to what you can make and sell! I currently do not sell my rounds but they can be purchased on Etsy. If you are gonna buy a glowforge use my link in the description for upto $500 off your purchase!
Thank you so much for the advice I greatly appreciate it
@@debbiemontalvo5377 your welcome!!😊
Where did you get round wood please?
I make my own with the glowforge. You can purchase rounds on etsy or Amazon I believe.
I did it with the woodglut plans.
Amazing good work.
Where do you get your round wooden boards at and how thick are they want to make a wedding ring for my niece
I would like to make one for a wedding coming up for my niece
That would be beautiful!😍
Yes that would make a great gift!❤😍
How thick is your round board and where can you find those at
Hi mine is .25" and I cut my own with the forge. I know home depot sold them in the past...you can also order them online and or on etsy.
Thanks for sharing! Do you putting any type of sealant/protectant on it?
Hello...your very welcome! I just spray a light coat of clear spray paint or lacquer in a spray can before I place words.
Thank you for sharing! It came out beautiful and thanks for the tip about the press and seal. It’s nice to see a mom not afraid to to be a “mom” and craft with life going on in the background. You are a breath of fresh air ♥️
Awe your very welcome and thank you so much for the sweet words I appreciate it! #momlife❤ 😁😊
How did you cut this in the glowforge did you took off the trays?
No there was no need to remove trays since the wood was not over 1/2" thick, I did however use the pass-through feature. You can see how its done in my video how to cut a wood round using the pass through. 😊
Woodglut has very good and accurate plans.
Could you give me your email ?I would like one made
Hello my apoligies about the delay. Please message me on Facebook @alijsgoods or Instagram @alisgoods. I would love to make one for you! ❤
How long does the glue hold?
I'm not 100% sure how long it will hold up but mine have held up since then. I have also switched to e6000 glue just because it's supposed to be a stronger hold.
@@alisgoods4541 I used e6000 glue and it lost its hold after a few wears. I like to wear my own designs to make sure they are well made. Trying to find good glue is tough.
@@lindsayd9584 hey thanks for that info! I now use the ones you can pour the epoxy into that already has the back attached because of that.
Can you put the items and brands you use in the post or comments.
Yes I sure will add it to the description. Thanks for watching! 😊list update
I have the worst time getting Cricut vinyl to stick to any other transfer paper other than the circuit brand!
Oh wow Ok... I use siser vinyl and their transfer tape as well . I now use the transfer tape vs the wrap.
How do you get it so that it doesn’t cut out the letter? I’ve been trying to figure out how to only cut the negative space around a name and to not cut out the name…is it simply welding the name to the circle?
Hi if I create the circle first it will have to have 2 circles (like the circle and an offset circle) then you can select the circles and subtract them or make compound path(im using the silouette program) then after that you can weld the inital to it. This part is in the beginning of this video. I will try and make another ornanment video very soon using this feature. Thanks for watching and I hope this helps.
I Love It! It’s Really Cute! I recently purchased a round wood from Home Depot.... I need to try to make one..😊❤️Thanks for sharing
Your very welcome! It's going to be beautiful 😊
Hey there! I’m just starting to make wood rounds and I’m having a hard time figuring out what size staples to use in order to keep them from going through the wood. I’m using 1/4 birch wood. Thoughts?
I should clarify that I’m referring to when stapling the greenery and bow to the front! Then most recently I tried a 1/4” leg staple and it’s not strong/big enough to hold the greenery 🤷🏻♀️
Hi my stapler is stanley model#TR150 and my staples are 1/4"(6mm) I also place a small piece of burlap ribbon down before stapling.
Very nice ❤
Thanks 🤗
What is the width of wood ? The staples you put don't they come out from other side ?
Hi its 1/4" most you buy are 1/2 so they will not come out. I place a small piece of folded burlap ribbon down before stapling.
Hello! I was wondering what your ruler was called. I tried the link that you had for Hobby Lobby, but they said the product was no longer available. :(
So sorry about the very late response it's called a TRUE CUT. Thanks for letting me know!
Love it!
Thank you!😊
What stapler do you use?
Hello I have the Stanley model#TR150
@@alisgoods4541 thank you:)
Beautiful
Thank you!😊
Amazing!! At what point in the process do you use the rustoleum? Do you spray it over the entire project after you’ve completed the staining & ivory paint job?
After all is complete and dry I'll give it a coat on the entire round ( when I have used the spray paint white, I spray the whole thing but check to see if the clear is good on chalk paint before applying, if not I would cover that part with a bag and only spray the stained section).
So cool
Thank you! I love this litte guy and wreath!🧡🖤🧡🖤❤
Beautiful
Thanks Merry!!😊
