As a 2021 Ford F350 with the 7.3L gas engine, I guess I'll see about an extended warranty... thanks for the heads-up! BTW, we absolutely love this truck. Everything except parking it.

We LOVE Fort Wilderness! The sites are VERY well spaced apart compared to the majority of other campgrounds. We have stayed at other RV resorts and paid a similar nightly fee, but had far less amenities than you get at Ft Wilderness.

Thanks for the warning about A Court of Thorns and Roses. I’d heard of the series but hadn’t bothered to purchase any of the books yet: I’ve got a large library of yet-to-read fantasy and sci-fi books, so I tend to arrive late to the party to popular series. Now I know I can skip this one.

You’re welcome, although, it might be worth a read just to talk about how infuriating it is. I forgot to mention the blatant Hunger Games rip off. Lol. Sometimes talking about a bad book is more engaging than talking about a good one. Hahaha. But be warned, this Romantasy genre is one horny genre and this book is the High Lord of them all. 😳🤣

I’m not sure what you are towing but I had an 08 F450 Lariat and as far as I’m concerned I’d never use anything less for a trailer or 5er of gooseneck. 19,000# 5er plus truck scaled 30,000# ready to go. The 450 is so much more truck than the cartoon 350 and 250 for serious towing. Mine was from back before they bastardized the 450 and they never have comeback to the 14,500# GVWR.

Great points on stress-related issues while camping. I think we have reached a time where it just rolls right off our backs. Jason's black tank about the door lock was interesting too. As a matter of fact, many Airstreamers have had this issue with the deadbolt and other door lock. Someone even makes an item to attach to it to prevent one of theme from locking unexpectedly. We haven't had an issue with it, but we did put in a piece to keep the non-deadbolt lock from locking on its own. Interesting that you brought it up with the apartment. We'll share that with you at Homecoming.

Harry will often get stressed because whatever happened blew my planning schedule. He forgets that I pivot really, really well and can jump into motion and smooth things out quickly. He says it amazes him each time it happens and he doesn't understand how it can't upset me. So we have to be careful not to project our own style of dealing with this stress onto someone else. It just adds more stress. Thanks for sharing your lives!

Yea we've paid that for REALLY lame campgrounds (usually close to cities) when needed. At least you are getting more for your money at FW. I'm not sure we would ever have time/budget to haul our trailer to the East Coast without being full-timers, but if we were over there with the trailer and wanted to go to Disney, I think this is the way to go!

Huh? You're comparing the campground to a Disney resort? It's different. Makes no sense to compare it. If you want to stay in a resort then stay in a resort. There are also no other campgrounds anywhere in the usa with those amenities, that feels like a state park and has golf cart looping. If you have one in mind that beats it i would love to know. I haven't found one, there is just a feeling you get there and a sense of community. To date no one compares. With that said, pricing is getting crazy. Reason we go in September for low pricing and take advantage of discounts when they become available. We paid 84 a night with a discount.
