Hi! Can you help me? I'm rendering an animation using V-ray. I have quite a lot of materials in the scene. The thing is, when rendering in V-ray VFB successfully renders 4 frames and then the renderer hangs and "loading bitmaps" hangs at the bottom of the render progress bar. The VFB window becomes immobile and if i try to stop rendering Cinema 4d crashes. What can this be related to? Is there not enough memory for the V-ray VFB? How to increase it?

Domanda dolorosa: io ho una versione vecchia come il cuculo di Cinema4D (r19)... attualmente ci lavoro con Vray3.7 Questa versione 5.2 è compatibile con un Cinema così "arretrato"? Perchè onesto quella libreria oggetti3D già dentro il programma, render real time e tante altre cose sarebbero mooooolto comode

Kindly do a me/us a quick favor. I teach VRay also, but I am fumbling on how to simulate fire. I use FumeFX but its not compatible with VRay. Chaos also hasnt provided Phoenix for C4D so we are left to our fate using VDBs which the process is a headache. I will be glad if you can touch on process for simulating fire and finally how to render out of VRay ensuring that various selected layers such as Filmic Tonemap etc are rendered out accordingly. VRay has potential, but sadly it seems learning materials are rather absent for C4D users as compared to MAX users.

To add more detail, the video does play if you do it the way you do in this video, skip around the timeline and render preview frames, you will see the frames of the video changing with time then, but when you go to render it out, the video is stuck on frame 1 the entire time.

This does not work... the texture loads the video, but only the first frame, the video does not play.

what do you use to get the clouds in there
