Hi Holger, I've tested Vantage on another scene and it worked very well, it will be a game changer for fast animations! Now Cinema have also a live link to Vantage, I'll post a video on our channel soon, stay tuned ;)
Hello! I turn to you as a specialist in vray and cinema. I can't find any good tutorials on animation in Cinema with vray 5. Do you know where I can learn more about it?
Hi, there is not much to know about animations with Vray5, to be in the safe side rise the light cache subdivision to 3000 and the retrace value to 4/8, you don’t need to bake anything. That should work in most conditions. We are about to release a very advanced Vray5 course in English and we will share a sneak peek shortly, stay tuned and be sure to subscribe!
Thank you so much for sharing! I have one problem. When i use film offset or shift it work in the viewport but not when i start rendering. Any idea on how to fix this? I have c4d r20 and the latest V-Ray 5 version.
Hi Florian, offset and shift work perfectly here. I’ve tested from R21 to R26, maybe is a specific R20 issue. Be sure to use the latest Vray build, if it still don’t work contact the support so that they can fix the problem.
I have tested this on a simple fluid mesh builded using metaball and it works, so I guess it should work also with Realflow mesh. Activate motion blur on Vray physical camera and if needed rise the motion blur samples inside the Vray object properties tag.
@@3DRenderandBeyond Thank you so much. But it still doesn't work. It seems like motion blur for changing topology needs velocity info, Octane and Arnold did this. Is there similar function that can read mesh velocity data in VRAY for C4D? Thank you.
Amazing work!! your page deserve a lot more viewers !! thanks for sharing your knowledge
Thanks Jose! Stay tune for more, we will share a sneak peek of our advanced course very soon!
nice rich blue sky!!
Thank you for sharing your knowledge on this excellent channel. I just watch the Museum Scene series and learned a lot of new stuff. Great work!

Nice tips! Thanks a lot!
thanks for tips😉
Amazing work!!

Did you also experiment with Chaos Vantage (export as vrscene and import in vantage?)

Is there any way for VRAYforC4D to make a motion blur on changing topology? Such as mesh built by Realflow.

@@3DRenderandBeyond are you using some RTX card to render?
@@czarkamil no, just an 8core Xeon CPU
@@3DRenderandBeyond do you have some experience with the M1 Pro or Max considering Vray rendering in Cinema 4D?
