Hello, I've been using my needles with FRS8 from Visaton for a long time and now I'm looking for an upgrade, without breaking the bank. Been searching for drivers with higher sensitivity (visatons are only 82db). Stumbled exactly on these Monacor's and luckily you've used them in the same box. Do you think it worths to upgrade and can you share some info regarding the that baffle step compensation? Thanks

Garmin should declare a General apology for this worst quality strap ( VIVOSPORT)....

exactly the same thing. Offered to sell me a new one for only about $25 more than I could get elsewhere. I used building staples to stick it back. Moving on to something either much cheaper or with a metal case. (tried 2 different type epoxys and a superglue. All failed.) The staples are pretty appropriate fix though.

Fundamentally flawed product all right and planned obsolescence creates needless waste of resources including our money and time. Shame on Garmin, won’t ever recommend them while they sell watches without replacement bands

Happened to me after three months...fortunately the will repair under warranty, but cost of shipping and time is an inconvenience.

Same happened to me, after one year. I think it's disgracefully bad quality, which is a shame as the watch itself is great and in perfect condition.. Definitely can't recommend Garmin if they don't even make a replacement band. Won't be buying from them again!

Same thing happened couple of years ago, strap just fell off months after purchasing it and I live in Egypt and I was told I need to ship it to UK I believe which is going to cost me at least triple it’s price so I left it.

I had similar issues and conclusions. I'm just going to try and use the Charge 4 by Fitbit for now. Hopefully it holds up over time. The Vivosport would be perfect if they changed the glass to Gorilla glass and made a replaceable band.

same thing happened to mine today, frustrated, won't be purchasing another Garmin product, ever.

It happened exactly with my band after six months. I also read a lot of complaints with the quality of the vivosport's straps. It's clearly the product error but Garmin refused their responsibilities when I contacted them. I will never use Garmin product again.

Sounds about right. My strap went after 4 months. Hadn't snagged it on anything just noticed it was dangling on my wrist.

I'm so sorry to see this. It's frustrating when companies do not work with you, especially when in abnormal circumstances. They could have gain a patron for life instead they have a unsatisfied customer and a negative review in circulation.

They replaced my watch for free 6 months ago after similar tear

I have a vivosmart 3. I've been a garmin user for over 5 years now, all the way back from vivosmart, vivosmartHR. The band on my vivosmart tore, like with all silicon bands it'll tear. There is no repair services available in New Zealand and The customer support personnel offered me a "reduced price" for a replacement device that was more expensive than the retailer's price in my city. How disheartening!

Typical the time that I'm not driving but holding a camera on the back and someone sticks it on youtube! Sean did a great job though and due to the other engine stuck on the hill got our first hill start on Camborne hill (historic first possibly). It's good to see it thanks.
