@Star-Wars-Skran Absolutely! We must spread the word far and wide! Real Star Wars is the six films and the Expanded Universe! Disney Star Wars is not and never will be canon!
I remeber when my dad told me a story about his time in the yugoslav wars the serbs bosnians and croats stopped commiting war crimes against each other ao they coud bully jake lloyd
25:38 - "Can we have Star Wars movies without Chewie?" Yes, we surely can! Michael Stackpole is amazing, but he's wrong about that, I mean, this excuse sounds actually kinda lazy and and a little coward to me, because we can easilly have a Sequel trilogy tied in the EU, and I can imagine how so: 1. Maintain Chewie's death and show the audience a flashback scene with Sernpidal's sequence recreated on the screen, like what the Chewbacca (2001) comics once have did; 2. Replace Chewie, as the Wookie companion for Han Solo, with his son, Loompawaroo, and his nephew too, Lowbacca; 3. Place the trilogy a year after Crucible, in 46 ABY, and use Jaina Solo Fel and Ben Skwalker as the main protagonists; 4. Show the audience Luke as a Grandmaster and a mentor figure to everybody, and Leia as a new Jedi Master in formation on his Order; 5. Use and show the Ossus' Jedi Temple, looking like Legacy comics; 6. Create a new character to be the ear character to the audience and to be the new protagonist, maybe that supposed George's new protagonist for his Sequels, the girl Qira; 7. Use that Darth Talon with a pair of lightsabers, and states that she is Darth Talon's ancestor, some kind of "Darth Talon I"; 8. Her master, and initial villaing, could be a red skin male Zabrak with sith tattoos, using a double lightsaber, working for the One Sith, and leadership the Black Sun at the time, and being Darth Maul's clone, made using the Maul's DNA sample that the Empire/Kaminoans had on Force Unleashed II (what originated the MaulKiller clone); 9. Anakin Skywalker, Mara Jade Skywalker, Jacen Solo and Anakin Solo could appear as Force Ghosts for the protagonists; 10. They could bring a lot of EU characters, as special apparences, from the C-Canon and even from the S-Canon: A) C-Canon - Kyle Katarn, Jan Ors, Jaden Korr, Kam Solusar, Tionne Solusar, Corran Horn, Mirax Terrik, Tenel Ka Djo, Alana Solo, Garm Bel Iblis, Talon Karrde, Shada D'ukal, Master T'ra Saa, Master K'Kruhk, etc; B) S-Canon - Jaxxon, Amaiza Foxtrain, Kiro (as a Jedi), Plif the Hoojib, Dani, Rik Duel, Chihdo, Marruc, Bahb, Jahn, Rahuhl, etc. 11. Many EU species could appear on the background, such as: Chiss, Noghri, Zeltrons, Kiffar, Nagai, Barabels, Hoojibs, Wroonians, Neti, Yuuzhan Vong, etc.; 12. The Yuuzhan Vong war should be referenced everywhere during the movies, and the Vong itself could appear as allies and some as antaghonists, showing Zenoma Sekot in the process; 13. Instead of Luke being Quira's master like in that Lucas' manuscrips, he should only trained her as an youngling, like Yoda did in Attack of the Clones, and, as padawan, her master could be Leia, who've had an arc by being graduated as Jedi Master; 14. One sequence with every major past villains being mentioned and even being quick showed at screen, such as, for examples: Grand Admiral Thrawn, Reborn Emperor, Exar Kun spirit, Supreme Overlord Shimrra Jamaane, the Killik Queen, Darth Lumiya, Darth Caedus and Abeloth; 15. OG trilogy characters showed at screen together: Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa Solo, Han Solo, Lando Carlissian and Chewbacca (on flashbacks); 16. The Midchlorians and the micro world of the Force deffinally could be explore, bringing all the 6 movies and novels together at once; 17. And last, but not least, lots of Prequel and OG trilogies' references, since characters, to worlds, events, species, technology, etc.
And some extras: 18. Chewbacca family showed on screen (Mallatobuck, Attichitcuk and Lumpawaroo as I said early) and Kashyyyk with the big Chewie's face carved on that colossal tree; 19. Confirm some theories, such as Jaina as the creator of the Imperial Knights; 20. Show the creation of the Fel Empire as a whole; 21. Give Jaina and Jagged Fel children, and develop Ben and Vestara's relationship (and maybe give them children at the end of the trilogy; 22. Leia could be Jedi Master and chief of state at the same time; 23. Maintain the galatic government as the Galatic Alliance, and show some new vehicles (prelude to the ones seemed in the Legacy comics); 24. Please, give Luke Skywalker his shoto lightsaber haha.
@@darthlucasfuu that would require them to do homework like you clearly have!!! They aren’t fans of this stuff so they don’t care about it. Thanks for this detailed comment it’s awesome!!!
@@Star-Wars-Skran You welcome, bro! Your videos are really good, you've made some great points and showed a lot of evidence of how much George Lucas cared about the Expanded Universe! And yes, it'll require them some deep researches or a bunch of guide books too, but I'm sure they're very capable to do so, they just don't wanted, for some reason, unfortunately... They had the chance to make a perfect sequel trilogy who would unity all the fandom, but instead they discarted everything and made the opposite, splitting the fandom even more than before... May the Force be with you!
@ they had everything they needed, there’s a reason they paid so much for it, but like you said, they didn’t want to utilise it. DAVE wolverton who wrote courtship of Princess Leia made the point that Hollywood likes to take established things and make them their own. So it’s really no surprise that they ignored the established lore to try and appeal to the general public when they should have focused on the fans.
Perfect video! Very well done! The proofs are a out there, that the EU was canon at the time, and that it share George's vision if the franchise! Something that I really want to know is: Why, according to a DisCanon fan, a continuity who openly ignores George Lucas' ideas and who made their works without George's involvement (Discanon) was canon, and a continuity who had his supervision, his approval and involvement in almost every work ("Legends"/EU) was never canon? I mean, this makes no sense and it's funny Lol
@@darthlucasfuu I think Disney Lucasfilm are envious of the EU. They treat it like it was just a big mess of fun ideas when the whole point was to be a well maintained official continuation of the story. Bound by the movies. It was/is and always will be canon. Also thanks for taking the time to watch and comment! It’s great to know the based , true fans are out there!
The idea the eu isnt cannon comes from not understanding a word lmao

Ah yes, I remember the good old days, back during the Ice Age, when I would send hate mail to Jake Lloyd.
The hate that the phantom menace got was mostly on forums and wasn't aimed at Jake Lloyd but rather Jar Jar. Fans didn't do anything to Jake Lloyd, but they will keep pushing that because it helps pedal the "Star Wars fans are toxic" narrative.
@@CloneCaptainKeeli anything to avoid taking accountability !
I was in my 20s when it came out and I enjoyed it, was it as good as Return of the Jedi no. And nowhere as good as Star Wars or The Empire Strikes Back. But it was ridiculous that people older than me were acting like Lucas violated their childhood. I do think Duel of the Fates was incredible and certainly better than the duel in Return of the Jedi. Which to this day despite the mental duel of wills between Luke and Vader and the chorus, is so disappointing after the duel in Empire. I still showed up on opening day for each of the prequel films. I preordered the VHS and DVD for Phantom Menace. I got ten years of Star Wars Insider to follow the production of the prequel films.
@@matthewgaudet4064 empire is still my favourite duel! I was obviously a kid at the time of phantom menace and everyone loved it, I recall my some people saying stuff about jar jar but in hindsight they were just copying what they had heard. The prequels are so different from the OT but great in their own right. Thanks for another insightful comment Matey !

I’ve dealt with Disney/Filoni fanatics, there is no reasoning with them. As Retroblasting said in the video “Star Wars: The Sequel Trilogy - "Canon is Overrated" “, these maniacs fall into the Doesn’t Matter to Them crowd. As to how and why these Disney Adult Shills continue to show unquestioning loyalty to a faceless corporation and its talentless hacks after a decade of this slop is beyond me. The EU is a parallel universe but TCW isn’t 😂 These fence riders don’t want to make TCW look bad so they will say the EU is “Legends” and George didn’t work on it. Great video!
@@DarthPawz thanks pawz I appreciate it buddy!
Lucas called Star Wars Underworld "a different world" when talking about it so I guess that was non-canon too according to their logic? It' very clear George was talking about story medium, not canon or canonicity when he says "world." Of course the EU is not the movies when Lucas says "different world" because it's different mediums from it, books, comics, games, etc. Very great video man!
@@ironinquisitor3656 exactly!!! Movie world, book world, comic world, game world , same universe
That first quote is crazy! I jokingly have always called it the Though Bomb of EU continuity for obvious reasons. To see this quote makes my statement more powerful!!! LMAO!!! Great video. Your "Ghost Writers" are hard at work.
@@StarWarsMarvelPurist haha I know it really is crazy, claimed it wasn’t canon while doing the canon bomb 😂
@@Star-Wars-Skran Filoni also said that just because TCW was changing stuff about the Mandalorians in the Clone Wars era doesn't mean the history we see regarding them in the KOTOR games is eliminated or gone or saying that the Gathering TCW arc has continuity ties and nods to the SWTOR MMO. You can't have connections to stuff if it wasn't canon or say that the stuff in KOTOR is still there if it had supposedly never been canon.
@@ironinquisitor3656 Filoni likes to twist the truth, even in the TCW behind the scenes he argues semantics with George to get what he wants.

My dad has a bunch of the Powers of the Force figures, they’re so goofy but that’s what I played with as a kid.
Yeh they were everywhere back then!
I have a soft spot for the original Kenner line. I really like that old R2-D2, Threepio and the others. The Star Wars and Empire toys are the ones I had. I never had the Return of the Jedi figures. Except for Luke who I bought at a Fleamarket in the 1990s. I also never had Vinyl cape Jawa or Snaggletooth. or the super large playsets but I had all the vehicles and figures from those two films. We couldn't afford them my grandmother bought a complete set off a Fleamarket dealer and instead of trying to sell them she gave them to me, just complete as of 1982 though. I think i still have R2 original, but no Threepio he is a 90s reissue. I have Empire Yoda, Luke ROTJ, I think i have Luke in Stormtrooper outfit from the 1990s but not Han from the send away which my brother lost. Leia is 1990s reissue. Vader is 1990s. I have vintage Jabba but no salacious crumb and no throne. No Hookah. Plus large size 79 Fett with loose joints. The only carded I have and its damaged is Luke in Xizor Guard Outfit from the 1990s. I do have reissue 1990s Empire Luke in the blister pack, but the box is missing and card but all accessories are there. The old 80s ones and ones from the 70s get sticky over time and somewhat brittle. Paint starts to peel. And they turn yellow. I have the AT-AT with side gun on the head, but it is only one of the guns and bent. It is missing the stickers, I think the guy who owned it removed them to clean it up of some gunk and never added new ones. Like it was a restore job project and never finished, the legs aren't tight and don't move and it's missing the battery pack cover. The side door is missing. But you can sort of stand it up with a little doing on a shelf and it's a nice knickknack a bit a pain to dust though, lol.
Likewise I rarely got new toys it was all second hand, I didn’t care that parts were missing it was a fun time to be a kid
I miss that Falcon. Mom got rid of it when I was going through my rebellious teenager phase. Great video bro. Cheers.
