The laziest RT implementation ever

It seems to me that it’s all very scene dependent. Sometimes I honestly think the OFF version looks visually better than the path tracing version even if it’s “less realistic”. The lighting artistically is just better. But in other instances path tracing genuinely does look the best. While playing cyberpunk myself I’ve been going back and forth between off and path tracing on and I genuinely cannot make up my mind. Because sometimes the game with path tracing is so much better than with off but the same could be said the other way around. While actually playing the game moving around idk if I can even tell a difference though.

the shadow in real life cast from the sun is SHARP, idk why games make it blurry and it drops in frames to, it is like they never ben outside

2000$ PC vs. 450$ console....nice. And the grafic-mode looked much better on PS5 than the performance mode. 30fps but not blurry like this. And the final game looks great on PS5.

Do I need to enable DLSS for this to work? Or can I use any other Upscaler and still use Ray Reconstruction?

In a side by side comparison I could definitely tell the difference, but just looking at this, it's quite a disappointment. This just shows that good graphics are made with time and effort. Good car models, good textures and an engine that can support it while maintaining performance. Every time there is a new technology coming out like RT or DLSS the developers put all their focus on the new tech. Instead of making games look better, they just make games run worse. Like seriously, since FH3 or FM6 there hasn't been any improvements graphics wise.
