Good evening Sir. I would like to clarify based on your discussion regarding the collection of taxes on business establishments w/in the Barangay. My question is what if the business establishment is already paying tax in the Municipal Government, can the Barangay still impose tax on the said business establishment? Good day Dean. Do the exemptions provided under Article 332 of the Revised Penal Code include the crime of qualified theft? And can a person be liable for qualified theft if he received money from his paramour and that paramour got that money from her legal husband?

Sir tama po ang sinabi samin ng municipal treasurer na pwede po silang maningil ng fee sa fixed business establishment, kahit po nakasaad sa section 152 ng LGC, dahil cla po daw ang may karapatan magbigay ng mayor's permit. At bawal po mag issue ng barangay business permit ang Barangay?
