I kind of hate the fact she's doing some lame late night show or whatever. I get her show is partly accepted but if all she's doing is reading Scripture material (probably written by other not funny people) it's not the same. Some of her funniest stuff is when she's interacting with the crowd.

I didn't mind sex with virgins. I'd learned about sex from one of mom's old nursing books about "human sexuality.". I laughed so hard when she brought up Conan's late night hosting debut beingg 6 weeks before she was born because she was born exactly 10 days before I turned 16.. Taylor saying that being 30 means "it's over" for her nsr me feel really angrily old right before that other comment too. If she wasn't so damn funny and cute, I'd be mad at her for a long time but I can't stay mad at her. I'll keep watching all her work and loving it I'm sure.

My mom just told me one day "come down here and watch this show" - which was some kind of after school special explaining sex - and then she disappeared for the entire show and never brought it up again. I think I was 8? I dont recall any of it. I don't think I understood anything. 😂 like Taylor, I never asked questions after. I was just like "that was a thing, and we must never speak of it again." I got A grades in high school sex ed class, which was basically an anatomy class, but remember nothing but the words "vas deferens" (which isn't even part of my own body). They didnt teach us how to count your period or what to do to alleviate symptoms. There was no condom on the banana. I don't think birth control was discussed at all bc it was the 80s. And even after aceing sex ed I still didn't understand how my body worked bc everything was so clinical and all I had to do was regurgitate info for tests. Neither my bio mom or step mom ever sat me down and talked about periods. I learned about periods and sex from Judy Blume books.
