These days marvel is like the class clown of cinema.

The best movie-going experience I've ever had to this day was seeing Puss in Boots: the Last Wish by myself in an empty theater. No distractions, plenty of room, and full attention on the actual feature. Every single movie I've seen in theatres after that has been a test of my patience on max difficulty. I went to Long Legs last week and straight up had teenagers pelting my friend in the back of the head with popcorn while whispering incessantly the entire time. I wish I could say that was an isolated incident, but disruptions like that occur frequently when I see a film now. It sucks that people can't exercise etiquette there

On average, I spend less than 15 on myself when I go to the movies. I almost never really buy snacks and have gone alone a lot over the course of these last like 7 years. So I don’t have alot of the issues you mentioned in this video. I’m sure that’s why I don’t understand why people genuinely HATE the theater experience. At least not fully. I get some things. Food is high, people are annoying, sure. But the moviegoing experience is PEAK when it’s something you and everyone else really wants to see. One of the best feelings. I enjoy it, personally. Lol

I got kicked out of a movie theater for not wanting to pay for a cup of soda. I originally wanted the cup and paid for it, but when I went to the machine the guy came up to me and said my card didn’t read. So tossed it to the side and said I didn’t want it because I was gonna run late to my movie and moved on. Then when I got my seat I watched a few previews and the what I assumed was a manager or assistant manager came and told I needed to leave because of “disorderly conduct” which tossing a paper cup to the side. I also explained that I didn’t need the cup nor was mad at the guy who served me. But they insisted that I threw it at him which was totally not true, threatened to kick me out, berate me on my “mistake” and threatened to stop the movie for everyone. Now I will say I should’ve just handed the cup back to the guy and kept my cool since I was unexpectedly running late and that was my fault, but by no means was there any contact nor any mean words exchanged and no one was hurt in the interaction so I was berated and threatened over a cup which didn’t even hit anyone! I was then given a refund after I complied with their ridiculous claims and never wanted to got there ever again. People over there are miserable people who will do anything to make your day worse. Not to mention they over price everything and never really do a half ass job at cleaning up messes left by other people. And then they wonder why people pirate movies.

Aside from no way home something about it after Covid just did not hit the same
