It doesn't have to be super expensive to buy a boat, a bit of luck (right place right time) and a lot of work. Generally the more work your willing to put in the cheaper the boat will be. We also live a much cheaper lifestyle then say if you were to buy a house or rent somewhere. Being on anchor we don't pay rent, generate our own electricity and collect our own water and source fresh foods from ocean/islands/ and markets where possible. The main expense is maintenance which can be made much cheaper by planning ahead (having parts on hand when they can be sourced cheaper ) and by cutting labour costs by learning how to do as much as you can yourself or through friends. Doing all this we manage to afford this lifestyle by working regular jobs earning minimum wage. Hope this answers your question, happy to provide more detail if needed ⛵

I personally would never give the hope up to go to Antarctica, in a meaningful way. Kim Stanley Robinson f. e. is showing in his Sci-Fi that in a not so distant future many people would take part in such technically challenging situations, like you’re representing… I patiently waited a Year and was glad to see you continuing to work out these artistic ways to future lives; respectively diverse living beings, animals and plants, always necessary to pay attention, mindfulness 🧜‍♀🧜‍♂🏝🥂🌏🌎🌍⛵🛰🌌
