The ol' UA-cam algorithm just recommended me this video and starting to feel a little called out with how long it's been since my last devlog for my own project lol But yeah, I'm running into a lot of the same problems of "Stuff's getting done, it's just either not interesting or I don't want to set unrealistic expectations/spoilers." It's a tough position. Definitely gonna be following this project, it's looking pretty cool. As a massive Kingdom Hearts fan, it's neat seeing how many indie games are popping up being inspired by it.

make vel an enemy instead of playable character since you put so much time into the model and prep to add many animations for that model

I'm studying games design right now and there's something one of my lectures said that I feel is relevant to this: if you do a good job, no one will notice, if you do a bad job, it will be super noticeable. What you've achieved in a year as one person in your free time is impressive. Keep at it, I'm looking forward to seeing how this game turns out.

as sad as i am about velle's campaign being cut, i absolutely understand the necessity of streamlining and, alternatively, feature creep. would be cool if she was part of a later expansion/dlc/update, after everything is sorted and moth is happy with their progress :)
