Example "Attack from Mars pinball animated backglass". Or Pinball fx3 animated backglass etc. You really have to scroll through a lot to find the best video. They are all on UA-cam. Unless you're not using a Google chromecast, or apple device and running a PC, there are fan made pinball websites where you can download static amd animated pinball backglass

    thank you for all the detail info on how you built your system. Impressive. Did you do the Geekworm 1.5 screen patch when you upgraded to the larger hdmi screen? If so, do you know of a video tutorial on exactly how this is done? Team Encoder has instructions on the process, however a video would be better for me. Thank you so much for your help.

      @@FROSTINATOR Thank you again for your personal reply to my questions. As a video producer, I really appreciate the effort it takes to make a "how to" video on your projects. It's time, effort and work, which people only see the end result. The process of documenting a mod, (in progress) while also attempting to actual "do" the mod is challenging. I attempted to do videos on my STTNG actual pin (I have a lot of mods on it) and found the process distracting to say the LEAST!. Yes, I follow Kongsrus and Cooltoy and others as well. Rock on and keep being amazing!! Eric

    Just curious with your audio upgrade, you didn't go with adding any bass shaker(s)? I did the 2.1 amp and upgraded the stock speakers to Dayton Audio ones and running the dayton audio bst-2 bass shaker with it. The bass shaker makes a big difference. But thanks for sharing the Logitech sub add on, I had a logitech z-5500 system just sitting around doing nothing and I'm running all 5.1 speakers and sub on it which is freaking amazing lol I'm curious to run another 2.1 amp to run 4 exciters like yours, but I'm already overkill with audio at this point although I really want to see how exciters feel on it.

    • @FROSTINATOR
      @FROSTINATOR 4 місяці тому

      I didn't go with a bass shaker because I had the extra 100 watt Sony subwoofer. That subwoofer is hooked up with the 2.1 amp connected to the 4 exciters. Yes this subwoofer is on the floor outside the cabinet but it does a great job feeling the bass when i stand atbthe table playing and feeling the exciters with that large subwoofer.

    • @htran527
      @htran527 4 місяці тому

      Gotcha, so the 4 exciters really make a noticeable difference with feeling the sound with the flippers, bumpers and ball rolling? Appreciate the content and love the setup!

    • @FROSTINATOR
      @FROSTINATOR 3 місяці тому

      @@htran527 yes you do definitely feel it when you set the volume right but remember this setup is more of a simulated surround sound because A1up pcb or running the INTEC setup through Nintendo switch doesn't support the full 7.1 SSF like it does with a PC setup running vpx etc. Still though this setup is a game changer feeling the bass and yes hearing/feeling the ball move around and flippers etc from a Left/right stereo channel simulated sound.

    If you don't mind spending a bit more or locate one at a good price this 31.5"' IPS monitor will fit at 16,1/8" wide complete with bezel and it is even all the way around. You can also power usb from it and another monitor if you wish. DELL U3223QE is the world's first 31.5" 4K monitor which allows daisy chaining of an additional 4K monitor at full resolution via USB-C. It is also 400 nits which makes playfields a bit brighter.

      @@FROSTINATOR I think it is only about 75 which is okay for the games I play but you are probably into faster action, Dell are bound to have one with faster HZ. Check out this site as it gives you all the specs including dimensions cased and just panel. Best site I have found for complete monitor info. Interesting thing is the dell U3223QE uses a LG panel and can carry as low as 15khz vertical and 23khz horizontal which will carry a lot of earlier retro games. Cheers Frostnator. Bugsy New Zealand.

      I question a lot of things A1up chose to do with the design of these cabinets. I feel they wanted to tweak each cabinet just a little making it their own with their Arcade1up logo all over like the newer cabs today rather making an exact replica of original cabinet. I get it if that was their goal but man they missed the boat on this. They're the only 3/4 cabinet business out there and they are still just starting to make these cabs look more like original. Right from the start it should have been exact replica like new wave toys does. Oh well. For me that's what makes this hobby fun. Changing and adding stuff on to them to look better like original.

    You could of just spray paint the wood black and kept the silver monitor metal frame expose as it fits the theme of the T2 bezel.

    I like the idea of raising the guns. Having them on the drawer slides though🤔what’s going to stop them from sliding back in during gameplay😂

      The slider bars sorta lock in place, or they are a little stiff that it wouldn't move much. Unfortunately i had to put this mod on hold for a long time. Now because the parts i bought to male the gun move back and forth wasn't working out.

    Does anyone know if someone makes a metal spinner knob that could fit the shaft of the current spinner on this machine? I'm not a fan of the plastic knob.

    I installed the Logictech Z313 subwoofer and it has a lot of noise hum when the cab is powered off. Do you have any recommendations to um terminate this?

    • @FROSTINATOR
      @FROSTINATOR Рік тому

      Yes, you have to turn off the power button on logitech volume dongle. If not, that's the hum you're hearing. That's why i keep the volume dongles with velcro on top of the H panel. Easy access.

    Do you have a link to the electrical boxes? I definitely want to at least raise the gun stands and eventually get some kind of rotating stand for them. I’m hoping GRS eventually makes gun mounts.

    Where did you get the bezel graphic decal? I looked on etsy I couldn’t find it.

      I asked a guy on etsy that does arcade graphics to make one for me. I gave him measurements. He was selling the entire bezel graphic design for the full sized original t2 arcade cabinet. I believe i left a link to his etsy store in the description area of my full review video of this cabinet's cosmetic mods. DBX graphics i think it's called. Ask him.
