Honor Killing is shamefull. Pakistan, india, Bangladesh, Sri lanka, turkey, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Syria. Afghanistan. In Pakistan , provinces of Panjab, sindh, KPk, . In Sa, UAE, women are not killed because of capital punishment in place. Women are just ostracized. Chechanya in Russia has alot of Honor killing under small man suffering from napeoloen syndrome, ramzadan kadyrov(kuntyrov) .He is Putin,s little BH.

Her whole family is connected to the fascist govt. of Bangladesh. Her father named Tarique Ahmed Siddique is the main culprit. She presented herself very innocent here. But believe me she decided to make her life private from social media as a journalist of al jazeera name Zulkarnaen Saer Sami published her lifestyle which is totally run by her father's blackmoney. She is a nonsense.

Just a real shame that those who should be behind her left her on her own. It was so heartbreaking to hear how she has been discriminated from her own. I remember when I went to my old hairdresser whose hairdresser salon was near Shelina's restaurant in Southampton. My hairdresser being a typical white woman said that her curry was too thin and complained and said that they wanted to speak to the chef who made the curry. The waitress told her that the Chef was busy, so she went off and put a really bad review on Trip Advisor. What I see here is a woman who was so down to earth that everyone around her wanted a part of her fame, and felt that they owed her, this is why you get people from your own culture making the complaints because they are jealous. Shelina has come along way and I hope she does really well, Shelina's downfall is that she is well-spoken and beautiful, and people are so jealous of her. I wish her all the best, and I am definitely going to follow her on Instagram and YT.

With the advent of a data consumption based society, people's minds will work overtime to process algorithms. People's body and heart will be desensitized to human vibrational energy and randomness. This woman's initiative is indeed a good one to mean revert the whole process as we are heading into a world where nature and 'natural human behavior' trades at a premium. Authenticity wins and she is doing a great job at making sure this prevails. Well done Holly. Expand it though! Hopefully, people just don't leave that group when they get married or something ;p

The justice system allows so many abusers to get away with their abhorrent behaviour. My ex-husband got away with five years of domestic abuse towards me because I did not realise there was a statute of liberties that meant I had missed the deadline. That man abused me financially, physically, mentally and verbally for five years and on divorce, I had to settle out of court in order to keep the house i bought with my 1st husband 35 years previously...this meant I had to give him my 30k pension lumpsome (not counting the 100k debt he saddled me with). There is no justice and I admire how this beautiful lady has picked up the pieces of her life and is using her story to raise awareness. Not having justice is like being abused all over again. My heart goes out to her ❤

I'm so sorry you came across such narcissistic ppl belittling and gaslighting you... Thanks for speaking out loud what 'everyone' knows in Mauritius: you normally bid the biggest bribe to win Miss Mauritius. This explains why undeserving girls have won (sisters not-to-mention-anyone) against very talented girls. Over the years, the contest was known to be bogus and mauritians were no longer as interested in the contest as before: you wouldn't see sold-out shows like before nor many contestants enrolling/competing. and I think, you Liza, were elected for a temporary rebranding to show everyone that "Look, sometimes, deserving and impressive girls do win, it's not only about bribing". Unfortunately, they are so stupid and unprofessional, that they didn't realise that supporting you could have rebranded " bogus Miss Mauritius" on the global platform 😅 You surviving such a toxic institution, and managing to win so many mauritian hearts and shining on the international platform, is such an inspiring journey! Let us all learn resilience from you! You go girl!

Wow, that was so heartbreaking to hear. It puts such a sour taste in your mouth with pageantry when you hear how many contestants have to shoulder the entire cost of participating on an international stage themselves (in stark contrast to the countries that provide everything from wardrobe, to personal assistants for their candidates). Like Liza mentioned, it was an uphill battle, and I’m so glad she was finally recognized in the end with a Top 12 finish. I remember being so surprised she wasn’t chosen as a round table guest for the head to head challenge because her speaking was next level!! Thank you for shedding a light on this Liza. So many people don’t realize the work that goes into preparing on your own (and ideally you should have had support from your organization or someone that helped foot the bill for training a world class candidate). You are a true inspiration and I hope your words change the trajectory of national pageant organizations.
