Thanks Arthur! This is one of the reasons this keyboard excites me so much; they *really* went all out with the orchestral experience!

The Tyros 4 and CVP609 share the same sound engine, so yes you can replicate it exactly if you have CVP609 or later. I used Voder Mono (Rock and ROll preset), play upper, and played the harmony on the right hand side as I sang for most of the song, then switched to Harmony chordal (still Rock and ROll preset) with the left hand side providing the chords for harmony while I played the electric guitar riffs on the right. Ah rats... the accompaniment and drums are perfectly clear in person, but obviously I'll need to rebalance this Registration for recording in the future! I simply used SciFi March, built in. It's impressive how much better the G2 version sounds over the G1 version! I only muted the main drum track near the end, for only 2 bars.

Thanks! Yes, it was difficult, and I didn't realize at the time my voice was giving way (lost my voice completely in Feb, a month later it's still gone. Hopefully it'll return soon). My previous performance on the CVP809 the singing was better (I could hear the music better as well, as the speakers were pointed at me directly; the perfermance on Genos the speakers were pretty far away from me and pointed away, and I didn't bring the home speaker set, so I couldn't hear the backing as well Those are called registrations, and not only did I change the instrument arrangements for each step of the pedal, you can probably tell the vocal Harmony type and mix was changed from section to section as well!

Thanks for the kind words! All sorts of mishaps when playing live; on one of the *operatic* (not operating) parts I actually played the wrong chord, which is why it sounded so odd there :p

It had me sitting at attention in the theatre (each time; watched it 3 times in the theatres!) I have a Genos arrangement ready to go; it's frustrating to me that this was the best take, because one of the registration changes (which included a glock to accent the high notes) didn't jump immediately as I was switching styles from the USB and registration as well, whilst simultaneously recording the audio to the same USB; so there was a long pause and I kept playing without any program changes for almost 10 seconds (I ended up having to skip over 3 program changes). I tried multiple takes but this still ended up the best. On the Genos, with the built in SSD to record the simultaneous wav file, that won't happen.

hard to see the screen on the side, but I used a custom style, which is mostly 4 kicks (with the exception of the last few bars, when you can hear a tom groove). Yes, I think I spent almost 2 weeks setting up the registration, and then had to re-do it because my first take, all the drums were too quiet so I re registered everything with higher drum volumes already (meaning the style was even more quiet before) Nothing like my Star Wars Throne Room finale, where I literally spent years tinkering with it and finally got fed up and just made a YT video just so I'd stop fiddling with it... and then realized the drums were too quiet there so now I'm going through all 40 steps of registration there and making the drums louder
