My performance from our work Christmas party from 2023, at the restaurant next door. No, not on Genos 2 (those videos are still coming!). Not much to say; hadn't practiced this song for 4 to 5 years, but figured I'd never recorded a full take on the Genos. Full of mistakes, but meh.

Thanks for the kind words! All sorts of mishaps when playing live; on one of the *operatic* (not operating) parts I actually played the wrong chord, which is why it sounded so odd there :p

Thank you kindly! Yes I'm aware I hit some wrong notes (it's much easier to do octave crossovers on piano keys rather than keyboard keys, but this was more portable!)

What a great tech demo being showcased here. Also that's a difficult song to perform especially live. I can see why the live performance can break down, especially in the opera part as you have to rapidly switch scenes (performances? IDK how are these called in Genos) and constantly keep track if you're aligned with the current part of the song. If you don't perform it for a while you might just forget when the changes happen.
Would be cool to listen to studio performance of this song as well.

Thanks! Yes, it was difficult, and I didn't realize at the time my voice was giving way (lost my voice completely in Feb, a month later it's still gone. Hopefully it'll return soon).
My previous performance on the CVP809 the singing was better (I could hear the music better as well, as the speakers were pointed at me directly; the perfermance on Genos the speakers were pretty far away from me and pointed away, and I didn't bring the home speaker set, so I couldn't hear the backing as well
Those are called registrations, and not only did I change the instrument arrangements for each step of the pedal, you can probably tell the vocal Harmony type and mix was changed from section to section as well!
