I do think rising ticket prices are a huge issue. I am not knowledgeable enough to know how single screens are across the country, but I'm afraid that distributors and theatre owners might increase ticket prices for limited showings of indie films just to milk the situation, especially coz they might assume only rich urban people will watch them. That would just make these movies inaccessible to the masses. I genuinely believe in a movie-obsessed country like ours, there needs to be a cap on ticket prices. I'm sure that will make theatres fill up again. That might also require big commercial "mass" movies to lower their insane budgets again tbh

I'm so glad we have someone like Rana who uses the industry know-how and connections and knowledge he has to further Indian cinema. I hope more people with the background he has choose to use the resources they have for the Indian cinema industry instead of... well... whatever they're doing.

Arre bhai, Sidharth Sengupta ka jugaad toh dekho! Undekhi Season 3 ka plot, wahi location, aur wahi actors, bas ek naye wrapping paper mein band ke do alag-alag streaming platforms ko bech diya! Ekdum desi jugaad ka example. Story aur cast ko zyada tension mat do, bas background score aur title thoda badal diya, aur lo! Nayi series taiyyar. Bhai sahab, yeh toh "ek teer se do OTT ko ghoom phir ke wahi kahani suna do" waali baat ho gayi. Mazaa aaya, Sidharth ji! Desh ke asli startup aap hi ho!

We saw the movie y.day. I did not like it. I find Bombay very suffocating even in films. I have lived there for two years and hated it. So showing difficulties of living in Bombay very fraught for me. Enough reality we have in our lives. The Bombay local trains,crowds,my,how do people live there unless they are dead inside?

I noticed Aamir Khan is comfortable speaking in Hindi more than the other Khans.
