Now and then I can tell mine to stop recording use voice commands "gopro stop recording" and it keeps and stops. But the catch is. The red light still flashes like it is recording and i can press any buttons or do any voice commands and the screen is frozen. I have to take it out of the media mod and remove the battery and put it back in. Footage is still there just like I recorded it. Just weird. It's done that three times. Awesome video. Very well put together. I may have to try one of these. I use a DJI Mic 2.
@@BeardedFordTech I know exactly what you mean, I have to press and hold the power button multiple times until it comes back on. I find I have to keep touching the screen to ensure it's working too. I am getting DJI mic this Christmas!
@GrooveOn I love the DJI Mic. You can also Bluetooth it to you android or apple (although not recommended for apple cause a lot of people have problems with it) open lid let them turn on. Take the receiver out and connect to camera. Tske Mic out and attach to your body. Thats it. Done. You can even record the audio to just the Mic instead of the camera and plug the mic into your computer and pull the audio file that way. Possibilities are endless
@@BeardedFordTech that sounds excellent, great tip on the phone set up too !! Actually I have also bought the wired mic plug in too so I can be that bit more professional. Funny enough my brother is a sound recordist and deals with this stuff but on a higher level for years
Thank you so much for this. Lately i have seen some amazing deals on Go Pro & DJI action cameras. But i had this gut feeling not to buy a Go Pro even tho i want one and like the image quality. Great unbiased advice from someone who owns both cameras is very valuable info. I would be very angry if my Go Pro missed what i was recording due to silly glitches and not sure i could not trust it again and the faffing about with the software updated and certain things to do. Thanks for these videos and random things, its very helpful and very refreshing. PS Beautiful office even better with the snow outside. Is that a archery target set out at 10 metres? That looks great fun. Even better for a co2 BB pistol lol 😂😂Thanks again fella again top work 👍🏻
wow thanks for such great feedback, yes its a simple office, but I need to move it nearer and insulate it ! You are right its my sons target board in the garden. I strongly recommend the Osmo Action Cameras, 3,4,5 as I said they are so reliable, image is amazing with the same fish eye lens, it has faster response on the menu's, it has longer battery life, it has a magnetic clip, you can charge whilst using, something you cannot do with GoPro 10 now, (used too) as well as loads more like amazing low light recording and voice etc
@@GrooveOn Thank you so much. I think i will, I do fancy a Osmo 4-5 some really good deals going on atm and have been needing one for a long time. This video confirmed my gut suspicions. Top work again
