Really hate to say it... but I've never played any of these. I have a few of them like Dark Cloud, and Dragon Quest and I even did a YoKai Watch giveaway haha. But I've never gotten around to playing them. I need to change that! Awesome list.

I heard about the DS games but never played them. Don’t think I would have got on with the RTS one 😂 I played Final Fantasy Adventure way back in the day and absolutely loved it! It was the first game like it I had played. I had played Link’s Awakening but it had less action to me. I started the GBA remake but for some reason I got to the volcano boss and was underpowered. That kind of killed my desire to keep playing 😅 I played Secret of Mana long ago as well thanks to an emulator on our family PC 😂 Trials I played the English translation of the original and it was a fantastic game!

This looks good Joey. Not so sure on the character designs (bit bland) but looks like a fun game all round with a fair few Skies of Arcadia nods

Trials of Mana is great, and it's the only one in the series that i've finished (loved the bad voice acting!). used to play emulated Seiken Densetsu 3 a lot, but never got to the end. maybe i will check out Visions

Pretty good list and yeah currently Trials is my favourite Mana game, tho Visions is currently giving it a run for it's Lucre

Kirby was a series I got into really late, but have really enjoyed diving into his history of games. I loved Super Star Ultra and was wowed, so many times over with Forgotten Land! What a great game!

Kirby truly is a Monster! 😂 Admittedly I haven’t played through a ton of Kirby games. Always has been a very kid friendly franchise and I think that is part of the brilliance of what Nintendo has done with the franchise. I enjoyed what I played of Kirby and the Amazing Mirror but then my copy glitched out and I have never gotten to finish it. I have been wanting to play Forgotten Land. It looks pretty cool. Great video man! 🍻🤙🏻

Kirby is an Eldritch horror with a happy disposition 😅 absolutely love Dream Land as we got that early in our gameboy ownership! That and Kirby pinball which was oddly addictive!

I used to collect any game with either title, just because. DQ8 is definitely a great place to start a fandom for the Dragon Quest series! It's amazing and it, ALL of the games, are so accessible as you said. 😊😊

So many series here that I still need to start 😅 OoT was my second after Link’s Awakening on the GameBoy. FFVII was my…..third mainline FF. It was X followed by the GBA port of I but I played VII going into the end of my first year of university into the summer holidays. So I moved out of student halls into a shared house and was on my own for awhile as everyone went home for the summer but I stayed to work. So I remember spending my evenings playing VII and it helped keep me from getting bored as we didn’t have internet 😂

Forgotten Land was my first Kirby and absolutely loved it! Playing the 3DS games now I've heard Planet Robobot is a highlight.

Yeah I didn't have any friends who liked RPGs back then. I started with the Mega Drive but didn't know anything about RPGs until FFIX on PS1 and went back and blitzed the entire series. I've been pretty much catching up with a lot of series since.

You sure the words 'dive into' were right on the moment Link dives into the water in the Deku Tree? Anyway, let's see if I understand this premise. Like my first Zelda was Majora's Mask, having not played the series before. I only played Final Fantasy for the first time about 2012 or so, with FF6 being my entry point. Persona 5 was my first Persona game. And I cannot think of much else atm.

FFX I didn’t find to be difficult because I used Yojimbo’s ultimate attack which one shots bosses…..I may have leant on that tactic a lot 😅 I beat Kingdom Hearts on the PS2, I guess I must had done some grinding 😂

Yeahhhhh that Halo 3 level, ooof And yeah any Star Ocean game here is warranted, as they all have difficulty spikes

I hate when they throw in a unexpected difficulty spike. That halo level sucks especially on the harder difficulties and yea man the hell house fight in remake was bs

One of the benefits of remakes people often overlook are the new hands it gets into and, hopefully, new audiences and fans they find. Also, all the characters you'd like to make in BG3 sounds so much like a buddy of mine who does the same.😂😊

Definitely enjoyed your JRPG memory lane trip. 😊😊 The GBA had such a stellar library, and as you said, so many RPGs to choose from. Also, I loved the portable SNES comparison. My fave story here was absolutely your getting to school early to meet up with friends for Four Swords. Those are epic memories. 😊😊😊

I had almost forgotten about the M&L:SS final boss. With FF7 Remake, I have not played it for quite some time - maybe need to go back to it - but I'm not sure how much trouble I had with that house.

Oh god, I remember that dreadful Halo 3 flood level. It's always the flood infested stages that suck ass 🤣 I got stuck at the end of Bravely Default, could never beat the final boss because I was under-leveled and grinding on the abysmal enemy types made it impossible to get stronger, so my whole playthrough was ruined 😭

Great topic man! Naughty Bear is one I haven't played yet, but would like to at some point. LOL LJN is so bad you gave it the whole segment. I need to get back into the Dynasty Warriors series. I have most of them, but I've only played Dynasty Warriors 3 extensively. I'd say that HeatSeeker on the Wii is a guilty pleasure game of mine, and any Monster Truck game I love playing.

I really need to get Lost Odyssey off my backlog, and pull the trigger on Skies of Arcadia.

A sequel to resonance of fate/end of eternity would be great as it had so much potential for the gameplay systems and guns...

I remember picking up eternal sonata randomly not expecting much and it turned out to be a really great game

I think you and I have almost the exact same taste in video games. Must be why we're both such great UA-camrs! I love almost all video games but for sure, I have my favorite genres. I wish I had more time to dedicate to RPGs but I need to take a break after playing one of them.

A great list but don’t know where to start 😂 funny that we were talking about FFTA the other day 🤣 these ports of FF I & II is how I played those games! I thought II was okay and had an interesting plot compared to the first game. I haven’t played four swords but I played ALTTP and Minish Cap!
