If you don’t own night vision the OWL is the better option. It’s an ambidextrous light that you don’t need tools to install. The light is the tool. You don’t need to buy a mount or a switch as it’s integrated into the light or batteries(owl comes with two sets of batteries) or a charger as that is included as well. People complaining about OWL’s weight must be carrying 600 rounds of ammo on their person and 100 pounds in their ruck while shooting on the weekend 😂. If you’re just using this for home defense and recreational shooting the weight is not a big deal. If you’re walking 15 miles with a ruck and lots of ammo then losing the additional ounces is warranted. You weekend warriors have much more to gain with the cost effectiveness of the OWL

I have an LC Carbine.. had it SBRd b4 I knew of the charger. But it's chopped to 8.5in. I have the folding adapter with a buffer tube on it. Obviously it doesn't need a buffer tube...but I cut the back end of the tube off. Took a cylinder hone to the inside and made the I.D a little bigger... now I can store my .22 can in the buffer tube(and yes the stock still stays on)..Silence is always with the 🔫
