Hi Mate. When you replace the front brake pads on a W213, do you have to reposition the brakes so they are ready to be changed? You have to do it via the menu inside the car. Cheers

Excellent video mate. Im not someone who has ever done work on cars but I think I can do this. Just getting under the car and the shields etc seems to be the worst part. Got a question. Bought one of these a couple of months ago from auction. Its got service history with Mercedes up until the end of 2022. Next one was due 11/2023. The service interval inside the car says its 51 days over due ( so was due 11/2024) Is there anyway the car actually tracks when things like the oil filter/fuel/oil was last changed? Just so I know if it was actually serviced in 2023 or 2024. Maybe not buy a dealer but an independent etc Cheers.

Before fitting this sensor I would recommend startingbthe engine and proving the pipe from the engine is clear as the gas goes through a banjo bolt with a smallhole. Did you not test the supply wiring?

Do you know if this procedure is the same for the 2004 A4 quattro with 3.0 ?, the reading ive done so far suggest maybe the motor mount needs to be removed . i see you did not have to do this and I was under the impression the 3,0 and 3.2 were practically the same engine.

BEFORE You do any of this, have your battery checked (load tested...). I had all the same symptoms and all it was was the battery!!

I’ve got similar issue with 500 convertible. There is 12v in one wire. 4.5 v in another and nothing in the last two. The wires look ok at the boot hinge. Any ideas? Many thanks

I own a "Renault Megane III Coupe 1.4 TCe 2009 Petrol" and I need to replace the ABS pump. How do I access it? Is it in a similar location? The Haynes manual states as first step "1. Have the AC system drained at a suitably equipped garage - or alternatively have a mobile air conditioning service drain the refrigerant. 2. The hydraulic unit is located in the far right-hand rear corner of the engine compartment, right up against the bulkhead. Access to the unit is far from easy". Do I really have to drain the AC system? Isn't this something I can do myself or do I have to take it to a specialist garage?

DO NOT poke your text lead in the plug connector as this can and will cause intermittent pit tension”fitment” issues. Only lightly touch or backprobe on back side of connector which is preferred method.

No need to use screwdriver just changed mine by sliding up and down the clip after tilting wiper blade . Dead easy!!

What program do you use on your phone to connect?

I think it is an error to lever the 'lugs' on the slide cover outwards with a screwdriver. Once the blade has been rotated out of the way to reveal 'pip' on the blade, the cover should be able to be pushed to slide a short way (approx 5mm) along the length of the arm without distorting the 'lugs'. After sliding the blade can be removed from the arm by moving it towards the windscreen. After a new blade is fitted, the cover is simply slid back down the length of the arm to lock the blade in place.
