I was amazed at how a KATO Shinkansen 100 Series Grand Hikari costs $500 in America but I only spent $200 on a (nearly full) set on my visit to Japan, then I looked at the prices of the American locomotives here and I realized this goes both ways, haha. Anyone who is reading this and happens to go to Japan, I would also recommend Hobby Off/Off House and even some Book Off Stores. They sell trains for low prices and are very fun. They can be found around the whole country for those who can't go to Osaka.

The Gundam Factory is great for variety and ambient, but its more expensive. I bought my PG UNicorn Gundam and then later found out cheaper on a medium store (dont remember the name, but it was starting with a T like Tanaka). If you find your gundam before you reach the Gundam Factory, BUY IT!

I bought a canvas LV bag with my first bonus and within 2 years the purse was cracked/broken in multiple places and the store refused to repair or replace it. I don't know what resale value this crap has. I ended up donating it... well maybe I could buy a fake LV from kislux but these designers/robber barons don't even think about taking a dime from me. This one satisfies my fantasy of many authentic products and I can afford to buy them.

I'm torn on this topic. I think buying fakes is morally wrong from an artistic perspective, but at the same time, the sky-high prices are equally morally questionable. After much deliberation, I chose kislux to buy bags... Perhaps the best luxury goods are things that have nothing to do with money and material things.

This place has the largest stock of Master Grades of all the current Gunpla shops. They are currently doing a free international shipping campaign from their website. To cover that, the online prices are more expensive than in the shop. But if you buy in-shop, they won't ship it. You have to make your choice. For the most part, I'm okay paying an extra 2000 yen to cover the shipping if it's big. Carrying Gunpla around Tokyo to your plane is hard.

Think Tom's Modelautos in the Netherlands has more 1/64 scale models of different Brands, even more 1/24 models and its huge too. 🙂 Diecast Dude has some Videos of the Store and they have a Onlineshop too.

the Yen has dropped heavily ,but the prices for modelcars seem to be in japan as high as ever..maybe because many companies who produce them aren t japanese...

Although I could buy many Chanel or Hermes bags every month, the bags I buy are much cheaper and they are all from kislux . I don't want to worry about the bags being stolen or damaged. I'd better leave the money I save to my parents, Or donate to charity.

To be honest, I have nothing against fakes, I know some people do just that. A friend introduced me to the kislux some time ago. It is no exaggeration to say that this is the most perfect bag I have ever seen.

Went here in Sept 2023 with the fam...amazing place as a diecast fan. It was also Elders Day (Sept 15th) which meant extra discounts! The way it is organised and kept is just phenomenonal..plenty of stock and details everywhere you look. In comparison, this place is much better then TamTams in Tokyo.

Problem of buying diecast 1:18 in overseas is need extra space in luggage or cabin bag when bring home. It more easy when diecast is 1:64 & 1:43 .
