BBQ Dragon and Chimney of Insanity test
I run the bbq dragon and chimney of insanity through the paces to see if all the hype is well deserved or not.
If you use a started cube and increase the fan speed slowly the hype is real and well deserved.
Link the the bundle with both the BBQ dragon and Chimney listed below

If you have a kamado cooker and want just the fan the link to that is below.

Cedar Planked Salmon on Grill

I do a little bit Cedar Planked Salmon on Grill. I decided to use my Kamado Joe and cook vegetables in a cast iron skillet over the flames directly. Cook was ok except for my timing... the veggies were done way before the Salmon.

How to make a cheap steak taste expensive
Переглядів 1804 роки тому
Cheap steak doesn't have to taste cheap. In fact the chuck eye steak if prepared properly could pass for a pretty pricey cut of meat. Reverse sear with a bit of hickory smoked flavor and Salt, pepper, garlic. It turned out fantastic. I also marinated in Soy Sauce. Ended up with a steak that cost around 5 bucks all in and tasted much much better than the price would suggest. You feel like making...

Smoked Cornish Game Hens on the Kamado Joe
Переглядів 10 тис.4 роки тому
I smoked two cornish game hens on my Kamado Joe, Big Joe III. The cook took just over an hour and I used Cherry wood to get a good smoke flavor infused into the chickens. I brined for about 4 hours before hand and glazed with Texas Pepper Jelly's rib candy about 15 or 20 min before the I took them off smoker. All and all it was a good simple cook that was relativy fast and worked out almost exa...

Salmon & Asparagus on the Griddle - healthy easy meal!
Переглядів 514 роки тому
I cook Salmon & Asparagus on the griddle. This is a simple easy meal that is fairly healthy and resonably inexpesive. I have cooked this on all sorts of griddles over the years and even in a wok. It is pretty easy to do and can be done with just about any type of equipment. Tonight I used the Hunsaker Griddle plate on my Weber 22" Kettle.
Smashburgers on the Blackstone griddle

I made smashburgers on the blackstone griddle at my cousins house in Orgeon. I have not used a flat top griddle in a while. I mostly use griddles that are on charcoal grills. I won't lie it got me thinking about fixing up and using my old flat top again. The meal tunred out great however I could have done a few things better. If i had done a little bit of prep I think I could have done the enti...

Chicken Wings on Kamado Joe - Holy Voodoo Rub by Meat Church

Chicken Wings on my Kamado Joe - Big Joe 3 Used the Holy Voodoo rub by Meat Church. Smoked them with Cherry wood at 250 to 320. I let the temp rise to get the crispy skin on the wings. Also used Otts original Wing sauce. I did a cook a week or so ago that was exactly the same except i did it on a Weber Kettle using a vortex to let the temps fly. Both came out great but I think I have to give th...

Garlic Shrimp on Hunsaker Griddle

Shrimp in butter and Garlic on Hunsaker griddle. Used the Weber Kettle. This is only 3 ingredients and a SPG (Salt Pepper Garlic) spice mix. It was a little over three min to cook. For as simple as this is the flavor was very solid. You could add these shrimp to any kind of side and have a fantastic mid week meal. These were done outside on the kettle but could have just as easily been done in ...
Bacon Wrapped String Cheese Bites

Bacon! Cheese! What else do you need? The idea comes from the channel @Fam_Eats_ I attempted to add a little more sweetness than they did. This was dead simple. Used Wright brand bacon. Kraft string cheese (mozzarella) McCormick barbecue rub & some Rib Candy. I drizzled the rib candy at the end and it did not seem to stick very well. I would have probably had better results with brown sugar. It...

Thank you for this video. I am always looking for air fryer recipes that feature the same air fryer as I have, but all I find are videos that use a basket type air fryer. Then I came across your video…and surprisingly I happened to be looking for a recipe for a pork tenderloin! I will be cooking it tonight the way you cooked yours. I subscribed to your channel and look forward to watching more of your videos!
Thank you for doing this it's a pork loin as tenderloins are skinny as center c 2:00 ut loin fillets have a different time to cook. Came out perfect the best thing is not to over cook then 145 degrees is perfect. Made the same on but from Aldi lemon garlic pork center cut loin fillet. Your Smithfield is the same as the one I bought. Delicious I brush mine with olive oil as soon as it was a little brown. Thanks for the recipe.
Smithfield's is owned by the Chinese.
Great Cornish Hens
I am so pleased that I finally bought an air fryer - and especially pleased that I paid attention to the positive reviews of other users, and decided on this one ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxD4Qeo-HRLxMfom_PDinM_SBfes00qJsB . It is just perfect for the two of us, and takes up very little space on my small countertop. I roasted salmon filets for dinner tonight and they were the best ever - slightly crispy on the outside but moist inside. Best of all, no smelly kitchen or difficult clean-up. My only complaint would be the lack of even a few printed recipes to get started. My generation does not find it easy to access the QR code and use the smart phone app. I bought a recipe book instead, which gave me the confidence to experiment.
Great video and love the shirt!
Yum
Sorry, tortillas
Are the tortias crunchy or soft?
So, the pork chops weren’t tuff?
Your title says pork loin. A tenderloin is a different cut & has to be cooked differently.
Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks 👍
Glad to help
Seppo meat looks shit house.
I couldn't wash the taste off and it was too salty.
The pork loin looks good. I wonder what a tenderloin would be like? They are much more tender than a regular loin like you cooked.
Love the Bar Harbor shirt.
Went there a few years ago. Loved the park. Bar Harbor was cool until a cruise shipped showed up, then we had to go. We rented a house in Manset.. I think that is what it was called. Right on the water. Very nice vacation.
How do you control the heat with the lid open?
You can choose what level to cook it at and then bank to coals to get it to the temp you want. Takes a bit of practice
@@kellydoesstuff1925 Thank you for your very rapid reply. by bank I think you mean slide the coals away from underneath the griddle?
@bbulliard yep... I will have then to one side or the other to create a couple of zones...
@@kellydoesstuff1925 Gotcha.. I didn't think about that.. since its hard to control heat, that's definitely a solution.. thank you and thank you for your very rapid reply...Bob.. oh. and if ever you want super crispy wings, be sure to get a vortex... 500 degrees, flip and spray with avocado oil every 10 minutes.. in 40 minutes, super crispy wings and its easy.
@@kellydoesstuff1925 Thank you for your video and your very quick reply...Bob
I do these weekly haven’t had a bad one yet!
No additional seasoning? Ouch. It can say it’s marinated on the package all it wants, it requires more to reach maximum flavor.
Great video amigo!
Man that looks good! Got 6 of these for New Years! Thanks buddy!
Hope you like them
Looks Great! Thanks for taking the time to share all of the details.
This video is pretty old... but I remember that you have to keep a close eye on them to make sure to not dry them out.
Either you didn't say or I missed it but I really need to know how long it took, total time for you to cook this pork roast because I have a 5 lb roast and I have no idea how long to cook this in my air fryer.
Made this video a long time ago but it think it was about 20 min. I would strongly suggest using a meat thermometer. Take pork to 140 internal temperature.
@@kellydoesstuff1925 No I'm certain at least for a 5 lb roast I don't think yours was that big, it will be more like 35 to 40 minutes I'm thinking and yes I'm familiar with the internal temperature must be for pork but thank you for replying!
@@CatT1987 doing something that bigight be tricky since you might end up burning the outside and having it raw on the inside. Let me know if you pull it off... could be pretty interesting
@@kellydoesstuff1925 The type of air fryer that I have is called a convection oven and has a large round glass base, really thick glass and then the top has the motorized part in it but it air fries, bakes, broils, you name it but I'm going to cut the roast in half like you did because I think it will cook better. I will definitely let you know how it turns out!😀
I have the exact same air fryer, I use it all the time. Just picked up an insta pot and that thing is great as well. Thank you for the info as I just picked up a pork loin and want to give it a shot.
Hope it works out well for you... we moved and my wife's air fryer made the cut not mine (shocking I know) but this design seems to be the way they are all going... shelves not a pot
Thanks will have to try that looks great
Mmm man that looked 👍😎🍺✌️
It is very good.... one of my fav mid week meals
Ya I just started getting hip to air fryers and am just kind of going around, seeing what everyone's doing. So far I love it... Some of the dishes they puts out, are phenomenal... But it's kind of like what you did here... Hit and miss You kind of haft to work with them a little to get it right.... Got the tri-tip roast down, sh** was on hit..
Thanks from Canada.
Only for using the voodoo rub and the Joe i got to give a like! :-)
Thanks, My wife thinks the VooDoo is to much but it is pretty much just right for me. Thanks Kelly
@@kellydoesstuff1925 same here! My favorite rub!
That is reason enough for me to get one, cheers, great video mate
just bought an airfryer oh yeah bliss blisss

STOP BUYING SMITHFIELD MEATS ! It is a China owned company

An air fryer is the best invention sins the wheel....and I love to grill ...but now air fryer is ..my best friend.....but I will use the grill this summer ....
I like both but probably prefer the grill
@@kellydoesstuff1925 yes I prefer it too but I guess I get lazy(with age)lol, and we are just 2 so it is more work the grill going.
@@kentmikaelsson5257 it is just us two now but I still prefer the grill.. the problem is time as you said... but i really prefer the taste of grilled food
NEVER probe from the top of the meat you get a false reading...plus you go all the to the metal..oh brother...20 MIN AT 400 then DO NOT open air fryer for 10 min ...perfect every time... your welcome
You should have done the video instead of this guy. Went about it so wrong. Poor way of cooking.
I purchased parchment paper for air fryer n it helps alot w messes. Got it Amazon
I will try that...
I like the vid, gonna try these on a snowy day up here in MA tomorrow. What do you think about spatchcocking these little guys? I've been doing that for smoked poultry lately and it seems to produce good results with a nice even cook.
Never done that but it on my list of things to try.... I mostly do beer can chicken if I am on the grill but I am thinking about roasting whole bird in cast iron and spatchcocking is probably the answer.
I love all the flavors. I stock up on them when our local store has them on sale for$4.99. I air fry mine.
shouldn't of left it to rest for 10 minutes because all the flavour from it as u seen it jus cut out max 5 id say and if u try to do it different way like putting butter in the sealing and some marsly and boil it for about 1 hour and half the fry with oliver oil with some butter and garlic for about 1 minute in each side im telling youll get even better result as all the flavour stays in
I am going to say that comment was hard to follow... rest it however long you want but it will need some time after coming off the grill. As far as the rest of the comment, you sort of lost me. I have not tried Suvie cooking yet. Maybe in the next year or so I will get into that style.
He did not wash .
I don't always wash poultry as I feel like that splashes the germs everywhere. On this one I might have raised them off in the bag and just cut it out of the video. I normally rinse the brine off in the bag when I smoke chicken.
Go hogs
Damn right!
That sound of that zizzle 🤤
Yes... very satisfying
Starting the fire is gotta be 1 of Mt favorite things, don't k own about you?
Whats the salt content on Holy voodoo? Have you tasted meat church pecan rub? If you have what was it like?
I normally use sweet rubs so I will add some salt before. Voodoo has plenty of salt. Pecan is good but not my favorite.
Omg they look delicious 🤤 lol
